We went here twice because it was so good. I had the salads which were sooooooo good!!!! My partner had the bagel one day and some big breakfast another. We both enjoyed our food and the coffee and juices. Sit at the bar it's quicker.

First, get in line to place your order. Get a menu on the counter. Read the chalk boards for specials while in line. Pick up silverware and napkins then find a table if you can. Food is very good!! Good soups too! Chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Behind the counter lots of prepared deli style veggies and salads. A lot... More

And it wasn't for lack of other options. There were other places for coffee and lunch/breakfast/beer. But, this place is great. There are tons of food options. For breakfast there are pastries, breakfast burritos (veggie/non-vegan and meat), and a bunch of other standards. There are coffee drinks all day long. At one point I wanted breakfast, but had lost track... More

We were a "walk by" and ducked into The Butcher and Baker for something to share for a late breakfast. Chose the Chilaquiles, Essentially egg, chile and cheese nachos with avocado and black beans. Added what appeared to be fresh squeezed orange juice and we were satisfied customers. Friendly staff, food kind of took a long time given what we... More

We wandered in here for a late breakfast. Luckily arriving by 11:15 as they stop serving breakfast at 11:30. I had a Summer Omelette -- I was expecting something within the ordinary -- this was extraordinary. I'm not sure even how to break it down. The eggs were super fresh and therefore especially tasty, but the filling took ordinary ingredients... More

We were lured by the unique pairing of fried chicken and flights of champagne served on Wednesdays. Having read previous reviews we thought we would have to seat ourselves and order at the counter in a type of cafeteria setting, but upon arriving, we were seated right away at a table of our choice. The service was fast and friendly.... More

Picked up a ham and swiss cheese croissant, which was very tasty. The cafe is nice and has a reasonable selection of sandwiches. Bakery offerings, however, are limited to blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, croissants and a couple of tarts. Nice place for a quick bite.

We stopped here for treats one afternoon while exploring Telluride with our family. We got a cookie for our kids to share (they're big cookies) and a peach pie to share for my husband and I - - and both were delicious. I only planned to taste the peach pie, but ended up eating half of it!

I wish I could have The Butcher and The Baker cook for me every day. The food is so fresh with unique twists to generally plan food. There is a reason the line is out the door on a Monday morning! This is a must stop!
