Great breakfast at good price One of the best in town. Would recommend if you come here for a bit. I get the omelette with bacon and pancake instead of toast. Making me hungry now.

Stopped for lunch. I had the green chili with tortillas--tasty, thick soft flour tortillas. My wife and daughter had other things. Everything average to good. Fast service.
I first ate at the J&L in 1962 and make every effort to return since leaving Sterling in 1964. Anytime we drive past on I76 and a meal is within a few hours of our passage, we'll stop, especially for breakfast or lunch. Many of...More

It's obviously a local favorite . . . . evident by the number of loitering seniors hashing out society's predicament over a cup of coffee. The service was what you would expect - quick, courteous, and "just make yourself at home kind of friendly." The...More
We stopped in Sterling overnight and found J&L. True to previous reviews, this is truly a local, down-home place. My husband had the smoked sausage and eggs and said it was very good. I had one of their 5-egg omelets, and of course at least...More
Reasonably priced food; lots of choices; even made us a dessert-to-order. Pie is their specialty, but they made me a hot fudge sundae, on request.
