Well, for more than 20 years it had a good go. They said it was Mexican, but not even the guy who wash the dishes was Mexican. But what ever kind of fusion they had going it was nice. Specially if it was 20 years ago and you live in the mountain it was a nice brake. Thanks to all... More

After a day of hiking we walked to this restaurant. It was just a few minutes from Trappeur's Crossing. My margarita was delicious! The service was great too. I highly recommend La Montana!

We were in Steamboat for a family vacation and stopped in to LA Montana for dinner. We were blown away by the food. The chimichurri Carne Asada was awesome. Our service was awesome, we never wanted for anything. Definitely sneak in if you are in the mood for chef-inspired Latin cuisine. You will not be dissapointed.

Food is just average, decor dated, but this is an iconic locals place known better for its margaritas than its cuisine.

Went in a group of 13, we had excellent service and the food was delicious. So much so that we booked straight away for another night. Close to the base and was 5 mins away from our accommodation at the Lodge.

Excellent food and friendly knowledgeable staff. Camerones, red chili pasta and fajitas are delicious. Nice bar and deck dining in the summer.

]My wife had the jumbo shrimp "filled with crabmeat, poblano chili, jack cheese, wrapped in bacon and baked, Jalapeño hollandaise". Just ridiculously good. We would go every week just for that.

Nice meal with friendly staff. Margaritas are a plenty! Tried the prawns stuffed with crab meat, which were nice except for being covered in cheese sauce (American style).

I enjoyed some good spicy guacamole at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and the place had a nice vibe.

This is more expensive than most Mexican fare, but the staff is very friendly and the food is creative. The queso is some of the best we have ever had. The chips are very light and hot. We return every year.
