We went for drinks & a snack after skiing. They have a nice deck with fire pits overlooking the ski area and we opted to sit outside. There were signs on tables that orders must be placed inside - no service outside. After standing at...the bar for several minutes (at least 5) we were acknowledged & placed our order - 4 drinks & a pretzel. Service was slow & lackluster. We were given a beeper to let us know when the food was ready so we could come back inside to get it. It was ready within a reasonable amount of time and was good, as were the cocktails. When my husband went back inside to pay the tab, they couldn't find it. He waited over 10 minutes before they finally decided to just re-enter the items! We did go back one other day for a cocktail because I enjoyed the spicy Paloma, and service was average that day as well. So - nice setting, food & cocktails tasty, but service could definitely be improved.More

Great location in the slope side Sheraton. Sitting at the bar affords great Mountain View’s. There is an outside balcony but you have to order inside. The tomato soup and kids grill cheese sandwiches were awesome. The lava chocolate cake with ice cream was also...very good.More

Had a wonderful surprise when we went a little off the freeway at Mt White and ended up in this oasis.

We picked it for the location as we were staying in the Sheraton. As we were waiting for others in our group to check in we decided to have a quick drink and appetizer. The service was good, as was the beer, but the nachos...were a disappointment. Liquid cheese from a can, just like at any arena or stadium. There was a good arrangement of toppings, but still it was canned cheese. Much to our shame, we still woofed them down. On the positive side the decor and atmosphere were what one would expect in a Sheraton, and the slope side views are what you came here for. Order something else and this might be 5-stars.More

We have now been to this restaurant 3 times for lunch. The food is excellent, the service also very good. I hear that brunch is also great. So great to see some amazing restaurants opening on the coast.

I ate here twice, once in February with my girlfriends and once in March when at the Sheraton with my family. The nachos were plenty for three to share and were pretty loaded down. We did have to request extra jalapeños and hot sauce but...the waitress responded quickly to the request. One of the ladies ordered a local version of a Moscow Mule and she wasn’t impressed. It is a drink that depends on the Ginger Beer flavor so it can be hit or miss anywhere. The other lady and I had margaritas and they were good. When I returned in March I had a hamburger and fries in late afternoon- the hamburger was cooked to order and there were way more fries than I could eat. The meal could easily be shared. The view is overlooking the ski runs so you can see all the action taking place outside. I would eat here again.More

Spacious hotel bar with a nice view of the ski runs; average bar fare, slow service. Variety of seating options.

Saddles has one of the best views over the resorts and the slopes... My wife and I love to go there for a late lunch or an afternoon tea. It is a rather cozy place, with a fireplace and decent seats. We went there yesterday...(Dec. 25th) and the place was surprisingly empty. We were sadly disapointed by the service standards. Saddles is part of the SHERATON Hotel, and we are regular guests and visitors in various Sheratons Hotels (Dubai, Amman, etc...). - It took 10 minutes for anyone to bring menus or greet us - the wait staff (they must have been tired that day?) were unsmiling and gave the impression to be bored - service was poor: bottle and glasses brought by hand, without a tray, (with hand prints...). - once we were done with our meal, dirty dishes were left on our table till the end - the bill was brought before we requested it (we would have loved to stay longer and have a coffee) with the dirty dishes untouched on the table. Definitely NOT a 4 star SHERATON standardMore

The food is very good albeit a bit high but comparable to other restaurants in the area. The view from inside the restaurant and the patio is amazing. If you stay in the hotel definitely try the food here.

We were there during the fall shoulder season, when some restaurants at the base area are closed. Even though the hotel seemed pretty busy, there were only two tables occupied in the restaurant. Menu has a nice variety but the pasta primavera and French dip...sandwich were just average and lacked seasoning. Go here for the convenience but other times of the year there are better options.More
