We had the kobe burger and the evening special of fish and chips (made with chilean sea bass). The food was wonderful and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service was not. We waited and waited to order drink refills and also for the check.

Probably the best food and atmosphere in that area by the slopes. There was a long wait so we sat at the bar and ate lunch. The bartender was friendly. The view is beautiful and the food was amazing!!

Thank you for the positive review on your experience with us. Although you were not able to dine outside, we are thrilled that you came in to experience our Sunday Brunch menu. We hope to see you again when you swing back through Steamboat. Cheers! More

Beers for $2 and $2.50, $5 for wine and sangria. A few dollars was taken off a number of appetizers and a delicious Kobe beef hamburger. There was also a musical duo, Ray and Walt, who were very good. Cheerful and attentive wait staff.

Rick, Thank you for the kind review. It is nice to see someone appreciate our favorable pricing during happy hour. You'd be surprised at how many people complain about the price of our beer...even the $2.50 Fat Tire!!! We aim to have the most approachable and affordable happy hour in town...both summer and winter. Trevor and Walt perform every Wednesday... More

Sitting outside looking up at the mountain, listening to music and eating freshly prepared food and drink make for a winning combination. Appetizers included chilled asparagus, almonds, olives and an amazing looking tomato mozzarella salad. Gazpacho soup. Entrees included Risotto with peas, salmon, pork chop and prime rib. We enjoyed it all - missed the cornbread and too full for... More

Mitch, Thank you for the great review. You are spot on with the right combination of food, drink, music, view...and lets not forget about the company. Sorry about not receiving the corn bread, that was a server oversight. But we will make surety oblige the next time you are in. Cheers! More

We arrived at Steamboat Springs on June 18 after a day of flight travel to Denver from NC and then drive to Steamboat about 3 1/2 hours. On the 19th we decided to eat close in - This place was near where we were staying and since my husband wanted to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers WIN, I went with friends... More

Hi Tennie, Thank you for coming to join us at Truffle Pig. We wanted to explain why the burger you ordered is $25. We are not really a burger restaurant, nor do we have any sandwiches on our dinner menu...other than the Kobe Burger. We wanted to put a burger on the menu that was in line with the other... More

I was in for happy hour. I ordered a Maker's Mark...it was $12. I had 2 before knowing...when I teased the bartender about them thinking they were a New York bar, he responded, "well, Jim Beam is only $4 on happy hour." I really think it should have been offered when I ordered. Oh well. Don't waste your money on... More

Why are you leaving this review now? You wrote this review yesterday and we have been closed since April 9th. That means you probably haven't been in for 3 months. That seems strange to me. I am sorry that the bartender did not explain to you that Jim Beam is cheaper at Happy Hour, but if you sit down and... More

The crab mac n cheese was memorable, other than that it was an average experience. I hear they have a good happy hour, but I never made it there for whatever time they offered it.

I will in turn give your review 3 stars and a "Meh". I'm not sure you have offered any valuable information regarding our restaurant for those reading your review. Yes, we do have a good Happy Hour. In the Summer, it takes place from 4pm until 6 pm. More

One of those places that tourists visit and think this is a good time. I live in this town and this is one of the worst. Most locals agree. Don't go there. $18 for a glass of not so good wine and service with a really bad attitude.

Well thats wrong. If you walk into our bar during the ski season, it is full of locals. Perhaps you don't know that most of the Ski School Employees, Kids Vacation Club, Ski Patrol and lift operators line up at the bar during Happy Hour. Why is that you may ask? Well, we have a very good Happy Hour dedicated... More
