I've been enjoying Gwyns Restaurant on Snowmass Ski Mountain for the last 25 years. The food has been consistently the best on the ski mountain hands down, and will compete with any Restaurant in Aspen. My wife loves the salads, because you can add grilled Chicken, Salmon or Sashimi Ahi to create a delicious feast. I usually get one of... More

Gwyn's has a lovely innovative yet traditional menu with lots of local offerings - elk meatballs, trout etc. The food was delicious, with good service. We'll be back!

Always an excellent breakfast and the highlight of skiing Snowmass. Lovely room after the remodel, views even better with the new large windows. Eggs Benedict with smoked trout is terrific, but for me the highlight is the scones, I will travel far for good bakery and Gwyns scones are the best anywhere. Huevos rancheros, wild boar sausage and the pancakes... More

Food choices pretty good for an on mountain venue but taken aback when charged US$11 for a coffee with an extra shot! Essentially paid for 2 coffees. Poor staff training or a rip off. Either way; Disappointing!

Tastes like poor school cafeteria. Soups were just ok, salad bar was awful - tasteless and not fresh. Pastrami sandwiches are way better up the elk gondola. Eclairs were filled with artificial palm oil based cream and topped with artificial chocolate spread that crunches on your teeth. Lunch for two was $80.

...but it's a quite place. Starting with the service these people really make you feel at home. They are always anticipating your next 'ask'. The food was out of this world, tasted great and presented very well. Now for the 'but' part. The atmosphere is a combination of your grandmothers house and funeral parlor. The restaurant is redone but there... More

Newly renovated, Gwyn's hasn't lost their touch. An annual "treat" my husband & I enjoy and look forward to every year. The food is beautifully and artfully presented, fresh, delicious. We had breakfast one day, and then made reservations for the same table for lunch the following day. Wine list is excellent, and they opened our pre-selected bottle a half... More
