Gwyn's is a must if you're skiing Snowmass for the day. Wonderful staff with a great atmosphere and even better views of the mountains.

This place is independently operated. Very high quality on mountain food with a nice range of choices. Have sit down service and the normal cafeteria type line (which we did). Some items made to order. Next trip, this will be our choice most days. The 5.0 rating is in comparison to other on-mountain, cafeteria style places.

...and the 3 others with me agreed...if you don't believe me try and send something back, I dare you. We made a reservation for lunch, we were on time, the service was slow and disorganized, but really, no problem, we were in no hurry. Most of the food was OK, but over priced...but it's a mountain restaurant, so again no... More

The gourmet dining room off to the side was a nice surprise. Cozy place (with benches to sit & pull off your boots @ the entryway), with pleasant decor and nice view of the ski runs, very good food, nice staff/good service. Risotto was outstanding.

We stopped for a late lunch at Gwyn's. Our option was to be seated at a table or go through the tray line. We opted for the latter. We split a delicious Ruben Sandwich and fresh salad. It also has a full bar. We opted to eat inside as it was cold the day we had lunch there. However outdoor... More

We had lunch today - two kale salads $32 ! Probably the most expensive salads I've had ever, especially considering standing in line for 15 mins, fighting for a table and mediocre in quality ( little more than kale and a few nuts - very poor compared to most super markets even ). Really bad value with dated layout and... More

Dear Mark, We were very sorry to hear you were disappointed with our kale salads the other day. Lots of our guests rave about them and we are asked for the recipe everyday. It truly sounds like we made a serious mistake the day you came for lunch. If you are still skiing Snowmass, we would love to treat you... More

It's in a beautiful location. Seating in/outside. Food...Usual on mountain choices. Nothing special, just good. Ambiance...Loud, crowded. Prices...the expected. I have never seen a fine dining room here.
