This may have been one of the best food experiences we had while staying in Aspen (crazy and yikes).
The crepes were the perfect density. Just flat and airy enough to encompass all the folded magic inside.
We shared the Rocky Mountain and the classic Nutella & Strawberries.
All in our party raved about the flavor journey of each experience.

Also made me excited to eat at a restaurant owned by aspens only black restaurant owner. The Californian is amazing!! Jerk chicken is great for a close second place. Staff was very helpful in choosing my perfect hangover cure ♥️

We had the red velvet crepe for an evening treat. It was delicious! The crepe was bright red with delicious cream, chocolate, and strawberries inside. Loved it!

We read great reviews and were so excited to have a good crepe. Unfortunately it wasn’t near as good as we hoped. The kids had a Nutella and strawberry crepe with barely anything in it. I ordered the Pyramid which is a buckwheat crepe with veggies. The veggies were great but the crepe was super thick. I wouldn’t say don’t try it, just don’t set your expectations too high.

Although this place is well-known for crepes, they also have great coffee! The iced latte with whole milk has the right amount of sweetness and flavor.

My wife and I stumbled upon this little storefront gem while walking through town one evening. We returned the next morning for some crepes and it's safe to say that we'll never pay $60+ apiece for a hotel breakfast buffet again.
The Crepe Shack turns-out a wide variety of unbelievably delicious crepes and each one is a meal. We went back and forth between the Parisienne - gruyere & swiss, black forest ham, honey Dijon mustard + added scrambled eggs, and the ridiculously decadent Millennial - hazelnut spread, banana, berries, shaved almonds, graham cracker, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce and chantilly cream.
The wizards in the kitchen also whip-up very healthy crepes - some with hummus, fresh baby spinach, mushrooms, oven roasted tomatoes, etc. and others with fresh berries and fruit. Had we not been on the slopes skiing, I suspect we'd have returned multiple times for lunch. Goodbye forever to overpriced hotel breakfasts!!

Amazing, sweet little Shack with some interesting & delicious crepes. Very busy place and staff very friendly! We will be back for more.

A great snack or have as a main meal. Located at the perfect spot in the base village. A little expensive, but totally worth it.
