I really hate to write bad reviews but I feel like if I don't write the bad along with the good, I am not being very helpful. This place does not have very good food. My husband had the 3 meat plate with ribs and brisket and he said it tasted like it was boiled. It had no smoke flavor... More

This was on DDD so we thought we could expect some great food. The staff I friendly and helpful. They get a lot of business when the trains arrive from Durango. Food was not impressive. Pulled pork was average at best. Brisket was dry, and did not have any flavor. Very poor. Basked beans were most lonely from a can.... More

So it's just a little cafe and as many reviewers state it can get busy and noisy when the train gets into town. The tables and chairs and surroundings are basic to say the least but you're there for the BBQ.....and it's great. Super tasty and filling. They sell decent coffee and iced tea and they've a few chilled beers... More

This place is a popular hang out, particularly when the train arrives, it has a line that wraps around the corner of the building. Their main thing is that slow cooked pork , which Guy Fieri from Diners and Dives visited and gave it a nod for their food. but other than that, well,...how hard is it to make a... More

If you love BBQ, corn bread, and crowded restaurants, you'll love this place. Yes, although it's almost always crowded with lines out the door, it's definitely worth the wait. The staff can be a little slow and it maybe difficult to move around thanks to all the people, but the food is always great. I'd suggest Guy's Favorites but I... More

The food was pretty good. I've had better barbecue. The atmosphere was awesome! It was neat that it was on Diners and Dives but I don't think it's a place I HAVE to go back too!

We were starving and with our kids and bbq was the place we all agreed on. We ordered brisket, pulled pork and some dish with turkey on a bun, mashed potatoes and gravy on top. The pulled pork was the star of the show. It was by far the best thing we ordered. The brisket was dry and nothing to... More

Very busy restaurant across the street from the Durango to Silverton train depot. BBQ was really tasty but the coleslaw was too salty. Minor issue as we did not select the restaurant for the coleslaw!
