Great selection of beer to go with their incredibly delicious pizzas! Highly recommend the white out wit for beer and Neopolitano for pizza. Staff is friendly and incredibly accommodating.

Don't leave Silverton without checking out Avalanche Brewing. Amazing breakfast burritos, great pizza, and an awesome staff. Most importantly, the beer is so good. I've never been disappointed.

To start the beer is AMAZING! I love a good craft beer and this brewery is one-of-a-kind! We had pizza and some appetizers when we were there and everything was great! My favorite was the cheese bread and the neopolitano was to DIE for! If you are in the area and you do not go here, you're nuts. The ski... More

I'm new to the whole beer thing but the Avalanche was a perfect place to learn more! The service was great and the owners happened to be working and offered tons of details about what I might like. I had a Gose and their White Out Whit was amazing! I also stopped by in the morning for some coffee. I... More

Super accommodating to food allergies and delicious. Love the Thai pie! Corey Ann is a blast, would come back just to hang with her.

This brewery was well reviewed, but we found their beers to be meh, nothing real exciting. The ski themed décor was cool.

Hello, I wanted to apologize for your experience. Typically in the month of October we are better at explaining this to customers. Living in such a small mountain area we really rely on tourist for our business. In the end of October the town slows down to almost a stop. We try to keep limited beers on taps at this... More

After a snowy train ride to town we were looking for food, beer, and warmth. We found all we wanted and more at Avalanche. The guys that worked there were polite, informative, and all around swell . The Maple,Bacon, and Espresso Porter was delicious and the food was to die for. Homemade jalapeño poppers and bacon wrapped dates. We also had street tacos... More

Cool, friendly establishment serving good food along with its own very good beer. Great to sit out as it is situated on the old main street which resembles the Old West. Close to where the Durango-Silverton steam train pulls in which adds even more to the overall experience.

My husband and I went there for me to grab some coffee and while we were there, we got a hot chocolate for him and a s'mores brownie to share. It was delicious and it looked like their menu had much more to choose from. I never got the chance to go back and check out what they had for... More
