We were staying in Silverton for some off-road adventures and found this little gem the first night, and stopped by pretty much every other. The beer is great and the pizza good, be sure to give the Glass Off session IPA some love (found it better than the bigger Sultan). They also had a Rhubarb Gose on tap that is... More

The IPA and the Wit are great brews and sitting on the porch with a brew and the view of the mountains after a long day hiking in the mountains---life doesn't get much better.

thin crust pizza, home made brews, plus great views, just a long wait for food. Better call ahead and order to go.

So cool to be dining on the main street with horse and carriage driving by. Few cars zooming through town so you feel like you are back in time. Food was really good and so were the brews. Small place, highly recommended.

This was my go to place when I was in Silverton. This is your ski and snowboard hangout. You can have breakfast, lunch and diner and some awesome beer in very good company. The food is great, tasty and nutritious. Mexican food full on.It's a great place to meet people who know the mountain also and get tips on where... More

Yummy wraps and beer. Can't beat the gorgeous view of San Juan mountains outside from the front porch. Delicious jalepeno poppers, too.

We travelled to Silverton on a day trip to visit our nephew and we stopped at the Avalanche for lunch. The outdoor patio was fun. Service was good. The Cubano wrap was excellent but I would have preferred a different side than a bag of chips. It's good value and a fun place from which to people watch.

I thought Avalanche was coffee and brews....nope. We stopped in for drinks with family and saw this AMAZING pizza---peach---it happened to be the special of the day. Their food is awesome, and the atmosphere is really comfy and beautiful out on the deck. It's a really nice place to take in the sounds and beauty of Silverton without being too... More

My brother and his wife took me here in January just after a good snow!! Town was pretty much shut down for the season. We enjoyed the beer and eats very much, but what made our visit so special was the people running the Avalanche! It's a certain type that can live in Silverton year round, my type, characters and... Description
Whether you're fueling up for your next adventure, or winding down from the end of your last epic, we strive to bring you the best food and beverage to compliment your visit to the rugged and beautiful San Juan mountains. Located at 1067 Notorious Blair St. in the heart of Silverton, Colorado's red light district. In the last seven years, the restaurant has undergone major renovations to bring you food made from scratch and CRAFT BEER! With the addition of our 7bbl brewery, we serve six of our very own elevated ales we hand craft just for you with some of the best tasting water on the planet! Summer 2016 has brought us new menus with lots of new options. We are serving up the same great artisan pizzas you've come to know, but added many new apps. Don't believe us? Ask a local! We've won the Taste of Silverton the last four years in a row and look forward to bringing home more awards from beer festivals in the coming years.
