This is my first time here and I enjoyed it. I got the filet and the cut was excellent. You do your own cooking, so it took me a couple tries to get it where I wanted. At first it was medium rare and I...finally got it correct. The salad bar was very good. The parking garage behind is nice and this will be a very good area when all the construction is done.More
This place was a nice change from the same old steakhouses. The owner greeted us and we were seated quickly without a reservation. We were able to cook our own steak with a plethora of available seasonings. Staff was pleasant and the food was great....A little pricey but well worth the experience!More
Sad to see the modern buildings almost taking over this small old building. Seated quickly and given instructions. We were shown meat and choose our steaks. Then proceeded to cook. That was fun. Salad bar nothing special and that is all that is included with...meat. Sides were average as well. Friendly staff.More
We were in town and I rode around and just happened to see this little old building in the middle of all this construction. Now surely that old building in all this new stuff has to have a story behind it. I researched it a...little and found them online Me and the wife decided to give them a try. The food is good, not great, but the service and staff make up for it. The steak was good...... I grilled it and mine are always good. Lol..... Naw it was good choice cuts of meat. The sides were ok in my opinion. The atmosphere and the story of the building are part of the draw to this place. One of the staff took us for a tour and showed us the upstairs where all the "action" took place and even a bullet stuck in the wall from a woman scorned. Like I said earlier the food is more than adequate, but the overall experience and staff are top notch.More
Don’t miss this restaurant! It’s quaint, has a cool history and a fun staff. I particularly liked the fact that the owners, a man and wife team, were working as hostess, waiter and clearing tables. They were short handed that night, but making the cool...experience happen for us. They have great sides and unbelievably great steaks, which we cooked ourselves on the grill with plenty of seasonings to help us cook it to our particular temperatures and taste. Again, don’t miss it!More
Made a reservation at 3:45 for 8:15 for my family of 7. When one of our family members became ill I called back at 6:05 to see about moving it to the following day, (two hours before our reservation) and spoke with Tom who proceeded...to lecture me. Telling me “you’ve really inconvenienced me, I could have sold your table for tonight” then proceeded to say “gotta go” and HUNG UP on me. Didn’t even talk to me about reservations for the next day!! With all the restaurants nearby and the hundreds in the surrounding areas, go to one that actually wants your business.More
If you find yourself anywhere close to Silverthorne CO I would highly recommend coming here. The staff is extremely nice and fun. But to put things over the top was the bartender D, he came out of his way over to our table to tell...jokes and put a big smile on our faces. Couldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy the best steak you have ever had.More
The people, the selection of meats, experience of picking your meat, cooking it was awesome. If we lived locally we definitely would be regulars. Once you experience the food trust me you will find a way to return.
So we walked in with a reservation and what appeared to be the manager told us it would be a few minutes. He also indicated that while waiting that we should not worry about wearing a mask. We sat in the lobby and soon thereafter...we were berated by a patron for not wearing a muzzle. Said patron was quite vocal and had her mask around her second chin while drinking a beer. She then proceeded to engage in a provocative outburst. She threatened a fight with profanities and subsequently left the restaurant. Shortly thereafter the masked man who told us not to worry about wearing a mask approached us and said the owners reviewed the “tapes” and decided to have us leave. We left. And will never be back. Not waste your time or money with this place. Ever.More
