You know the drill. Get up early, skip breakfast and try to beat the I-70 traffic. It's useless, but the light at the end of the tunnel is the Mountain Lyon Cafe for breakfast. We always enjoy everything we get there and the service is great. Love it!

This is one of my 'must stop at' breakfast places any time I'm in Silverthorne, Dillon or Breckinridge. Everything I've ever ordered has been delicious and the staff are alway friendly. A bit rushed... but friendly none-the-less. This place almost always has a wait, but it's well worth it. Best breakfast joint in the area!

I don't usually give out five point ratings, as I think the average ratings on this website tend to be too high. But this place does what it is very well. It serves up old time café food with friendly service at reasonable prices. The booths are very worn, the floor is not particularly clean, and the décor is a... More

And for all we know, a great lunch...but our direct experience was breakfast, Our first time was so wonderful we returned the next day. The banana nut pancakes are my personal favorite, but our son tucked into the western style eggs and sausage with great enthusiasm - and as others have noted, the prices are reasonable, and the service is... I absolutely love this place. I always get the country fried steak and eggs. Yum! My husband likes the breakfast burrito with green chili. The service is great and quick so you can get on the mountain.

his place gets super packed and there's a reason for that: great food, lots of food and delicious food. The wait is worth it. We waited about 30 minutes. Hubby had to sit outside in the freezing weather along with a few other diners while me and the kid crammed in along the walls to avoid being turned into human... More

The Mountain Lyon Café is a down home café that makes it a point to make sure you don't leave hungry or broke. My family and I had lunch at the café twice during our stay and it never disappointed. The food and service at the establishment were top notch. No one at our table ever had an empty glass... More
