Great grub after a long day in the road. Love that they offer family sized meals. Recommend a Supremo Pizza to share This was more than enough for two with a starter and salad. Had enough for lunch the next day.

Good food, excellent service but a little on the pricey side for what you get. This is one of several restaurants that this owner has in the Summit County area.

Hi Dan, Thanks for dining with us at Sauce on the Blue in Silverthorne! We do have several other Sauce restaurants in Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Avon CO. Our newest location will be coming to Littleton, CO in May!

Dined in several times for a nice meal. Opted for take-out this time after a long day of skiing. Huge mistake. The quality was not the same, small portions and just a lackluster meal. Nothing in the bag but three boxes no bread, no Romano...cheese for the entrees (it’s an Italian restaurant) is it because they wanted a full service tip for the Togo order which they asked me for when I placed my it? Hmmmm. I hope not.More

Sauce on the blue We stopped in to grab something to eat for dinner. We came in around 5pm and the place was fairly empty. . I asked the hostest Deborah nicely could you seat us somewhere warm. She snapped at me an said the...only table she had was the table behind her and in direct line with the thrust of the cold wind coming in the door Clearly she has been in the hostest position and is burned out. Deborah needs to find a new profession. We went ahead and sat down and ordered the food with waitress. The waitress an staff was great and the waitress was very good at what she does. As other times we have eaten here the food arrived quickly and was very good. To bad we were cold. As we were about to leave I decided to take a picture of many seats still open where it was in a much warmer place in the building. Since we were right behind the hostest and in clear view and ear distance we witness a large group come in. Deborah was quick to tell them they did not have a reservation and she could not seat them. The guest flashed what I believe to be a $100 bill. She grabbed it and found a spot for them. what a hypocrite.More

Absolutely fantastic dinner! Glen (or Glenn), Deb, and Emily were wonderfully friendly, caring, and skilled in the art of hospitality. See photos. Sitting in the Yurt was a unique, cozy, dining experience. The food? Memorable, really. Everything was fresh tasting, served at the proper temperature,...well-plated, a good size portion, and delicious. Best pizza in Summit County! The ravioli was yummy, as was the minestrone soup. The Chicken Parmesan was a large portion, which was perfectly fried, and tender, with a great sauce. Highly recommend! Trout, which I tasted was light, caper-filled, and fresh. The green beans, as simple as green beans can be, were great. Key lime pie for dessert is a must have if you like Key lime pie. Thanks Glen for your kindness in taking my reservation at the last minute for seven of us and putting us in the Yurt, which was a memorable experience. Thanks Deb for your warm greeting on our arrival and seating us so promptly. And, big thanks to Emily who was the perfect server, with an engaging smile and personality, and a great sense of timing in terms of food delivery. This is my fifth or sixth trip to the Summit County area in the last four years. Hands-down this is the best restaurant in the area that I have eaten at during that time period. Three cheers to the entire staff … and I don’t want to overlook the chef and kitchen folks. Nicely done!More

We are staying in Keystone and are very fond of Italian food. Our favorite in our hometown of Kansas City is Garozzo’s and while here in Summit County, we love Giampietro’s in Breckenridge. On the suggestion of a friend, we were excited to try Sauce...on the Blue. The “Blue” in the name refers to the Blue River which runs directly behind the restaurant. If you envision a mountain restaurant, you’ll likely envision something like Sauce on the Blue. High ceilings, large windows overlooking the Blue River and a two story liquor rack accessed by a ladder on a rail are the main features of the restaurant’s setting. This fabulous setting is only matched by the food. We ordered the Caprese Salad ($15) the Bruschetta ($14) and both types of spaghetti offered; the Spaghetti Margherita ($14) and the Spaghetti Marinara with Italian Sausage ($19). Everything was excellent and our waiter was efficient and friendly. Don’t miss this mountain culinary gem!More

This was one of our favorite restaurants on our visit to Summit County. The pizza quality was outstanding and we are what you might consider pizza snobs. Service was excellent and we sat outside with a river view which was great and added to the...overall experience. I would say skip the cannoli and opt for a different dessert. It was good but if you like it sweet look to one of the other desert options. We will absolutely come back on our next visit to Colorado.More

Pasta meals were good, my clams were served with an over abundance of pesto cream sauce & half a loaf of bread with no way to eat it other than getting your hands completely covered in the sauce. They were tasty, but there must be...a better way. Salads were good, but ask for additional dressing on the side as they didn’t offer enough. Fun atmosphere but you were sitting so close to your neighbors it was almost intrusive. I would try it again, in hopes the outdoor patio was open!More
