What a a wonderful place to eat! On our two week trip this was the ONLY place we ate at two times. We had Sunday brunch and then two days later we had dinner. The waiter was amazing, the food was out of this world and the price was unbelievable! Four of us ate for $115 - which included an... More

We went in for dinner on the recommendation of the young man working at The Palace Hotel. Also on his recommendation, we shared some small plates: a special - Shrimp Barcelona (it had lots of things we like, plus I lived in Barcelona for a year), Grilled Shishito Peppers (simple, but yummy), Truffle French Fries (w/ a dash of parmesan,... My group and I ate here twice during our stay in Salida. The first time for Sunday brunch, and the second for dinner. Brunch was a hit all around, my group has some specific preferences and dietary needs, which Shallots accommodated beautifully. My Cousin is gluten free and they did offer gluten free bread, but also happily accommodated her request... More

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a couple cocktails and an appetizer. I order the negroni and he ordered the pimms cup. Both were absolutely delicious. We shared the duck confit which was also amazing. The bartender was knowledgeable and makes a killer drink! Hats off to you sir! Thanks for a nice evening out with my love. We... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around historic downtown Salida and we are so glad we did. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We luckily snuck in right before the lunch crowd on a Thursday. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Salida.

We stopped in Salida and were starving (we'd left Colorado Springs about 3 hours earlier) -- we saw there was a crowd inside Shallots so we thought we'd try it. We arrived about 10 minutes before noon on a Sunday morning, and were promptly seated at the bar -- we didn't have a reservation. The owner, Sheree, greeted us right... More

I am so happy we found this place for brunch on a Sunday morning. We were in the Salida area for 5 days and this was the best breakfast we had the entire trip. I had the eggs benedict with kale and amazing hashbrowns. My guy had the jose scramble and it was so yummy. Go here! I wish we... More
