First, the service was great. The ambiance was nice. But we are chili (both red and especially green chili) lovers and have tasted the best. This wasn't it! They offer only green or red "sauces" to smother burritos, etc. I had the green, and it...More

We've eaten here several times when passing through Salida. The food has always been pretty good. Since we had visitors on this trip, we splurged & ordered prickly pear margaritas too & they were horrible. Tasted like nothing but ice water with a TINY amount...More

Excellent wait service, quick food service, food hot-tasty, cold beer. We had steak fajitas for 2, could have fed 4. Cool atmosphere, like you were in a botanical garden and it was 15 degrees outside.

With 3 Mexican restaurants in Salida, each one offers a couple unique specialties. Our favorite here are the street tacos. They can handle big crowds since the place filled up quickly after the Christmas lights parade on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Salsa is so gross and tastes like chili. I think it's made with canned tomatoes. It's not fresh and they put it in a tiny bowl meant for only one person. It's also way too hot. It's not hard to make good fresh salsa. You...More

Really friendly service. I ordered the Patron Magarita and it was really good. Not as sweet as some I've had. Chips and salsa were good. I was seated at the money table booth. I ordered two street tacos. One with carne adoba and the other...More
