First place we ever ate in Salida. Greeted by 2 really great guys. The food was unique and really good. Fun to sit outside and watch it all happen.

The coffee is very good here, and they offer a little glass with soda water for your espresso like in Latin America. They are truly professional coffee makers. The ambience is also to good to work in and enjoy the drinks. Their sandwiches are not bad either. There is a guy who works there with short hair and a stubble... More

I always like the local coffee places and order and almond milk latte with an extra shot. YUM. Coffee was very good, and I would recommend this place.

Cafe Dawn makes great lattes, cappuccinos, chais, etc. Their pastries and breakfast foods are above average for a coffee shop, but by no means fine breakfast dining. I am from out of town, but come to Salida fairly often and have never had anything but friendly service here. This place is great, and is clearly the heart of Salida in... More

I enjoyed the coffee. The owner is a through hiker and being a CDT Hiker it was nice to meet other hikers.

This place is hoot, a local hangout for residents (our host) who come and go by bike, hike and auto. And they do a GREAT Thai Chai latte! They offer baked goods and burritos as well. Two of ordered the Chorizo Burrito, and while tasty, it was a bit dry. Service is walk up order, but service delivery except for... More

The outdoor seating is worth paying for although it comes free with the coffee. Locals are known to spend the morning sipping the freshest ground coffee all day and then drinking beers for happy hour during the weekdays after 4:30 pm. The service is always friendly and inspiring, however if your in a rush you might need to chill out... More

I'm Always impressed with the friendly service and the absolutely gorgeous coffees . Not only are the coffees beautiful to look at but they taste super. There are some baked goods and breakfast burritos as well. The interior is comfortable and has interesting art to look at.

I stop here every time I come through town. Cash/check only. Always good people and great service. Easy to access, although parking is a bit weird.
