A quaint, retro, small town breakfast joint. I grew up in a small town, so I felt very much at home. Seven dollars buys eggs, hash browns, sausage and sour dough toast. I was not in a hurry and was reading, so 20 minutes went by fast - my expectations were adjusted for a small operation. Breakfast food was good,... More

Good food, especially for breakfast! Lunch wait times can be long--best to place a to go order in advance. Wood stove and cozy atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch after reading all of the reviews. The waitress was at our table right away to get our drinks and take our order. The food came quickly. My husband had a cheeseburger that was good, and I had a Philly cheesesteak that was decent. We talked about ordering pie, but after the waitress brought our food she... More

Real local color, good Philly cheesesteak , not a place to go however if you're watching your time. Took about 20 minutes to get our food.

We stopped in this little town on own way from Leadville to Durango. Breakfast was simply delicious. I usually avoid bakeries but the breakfast burrito & Denver omelet were delicious. In fact one of the nicest omelettes I've enjoyed -& from a humble diner in a small town. Service was also good.

I was planning a trip through the area and knew that we may need lunch about the time we would be traveling through Saguache. I found this reviews on it and everyone liked it. We never made that trip but I remembered the restaurant. We had friends in town and we were at Joyful Journey Hot Springs for a soak.... More

We found this diner on our way from Montrose to Estes Park, CO. It has a nice small town atmosphere and nice staff. We had breakfast here which was excellent. I prefer the small diners to chain type fast food places.

Passing through this small town near lunch time we saw their sign. Food as good as others have noted. Particularly appreciated the local organic beef for a few dollars more. Must return to try their pies.

Stopped for breakfast on the way from Durango to Denver. Quiet, historic location with friendly people. All items ordered were prepared exactly as requested and were delicious. Easy to tell that the toast is made with fresh baked bread. Do not pass up an opportunity to eat here.
