Ridgway is in the middle of a great deal of construction and driving is a bit messy. Hoping to escape traffic, we stop at Cimaron Books & Coffee for a mid-morning break. The place features every possible hippy-PC-connection, the Latte is excellent and the little courtyard pleasant to sit and enjoy a free paper with your coffee. **

We were looking for gifts with a local flavor and were told by a local person to check out this coffee shop. There we found nice folks,a lot of cool books, and some neat artwork and other items featuring the beauty of the area. We didn't have coffee but everyone on the outside patio and inside was definitely enjoying themselves.... More

This is a source of really good, locally roasted coffee beans, as well as yummy baked goods. But I find the coffee served to be bitter. I'm not usually one to care, but we've noticed that every time we try the drip coffee, we don't want to finish a cup. Give it a try and tell us what YOU think.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on my little shop. Sorry you haven't found the coffee to be to your taste. I am proud of the flavor profiles exhibited by the single origin offerings in the shop, but they are not for everyone. Give the Chimney Rock Blend a try next time you come by and see if it's more... The coffee or tea here is wonderful. A small but VERY fun bookstore with interesting titles for both children & adults. Relaxing places to sit with one little room off the main area. Employees are the best and the atmosphere is upbeat! Great place to relax for a bit!!

This is a great place to run in and grab a latte or some other coffee drink. Although the service can be a bit slow, it is friendly warm and welcoming. there's nothing better than hanging out on their patio on a summer morning, Reading the paper and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

We came in looking for maps of the area, and though we didn't find exactly what we were seeking, a book on the historic mining district in the San Juan Triangle, called, "Mines, Miners, and Much More," by Don Paulson, caught my eye. Turned out to be a really good book with good pictures, descriptions, and directions. Typical of the... More

Charming little place in a lovely little town. Staff was nice and personable. Take a look in the small bookstore that is part of the shop. Lovely outdoor seating area where you can sip your cups and look at the mountain surroundings.

#1 Coffee Shop in the Universe! Go ahead and try to prove me wrong... Heather, Ben, Piper, Erin, and (of course) Eric, are the greatest Barista's of all time!! Not sure what my life would be like without an Espresso shot from this place every day? Not sure I want to know?

Great conversations with the owner and staff. Love the coffee and micro-roasted batches. Dry process is the best. Yummy breakfast burritos and they support artists and other local businesses. What more could you ask for really?
