We couldn't wait for the morning to get our breakfast here. The Denver omelet was superb. The bacon was a 10 out of 10. My girlfriend liked the French Toast. One can sit inside or out. Lots of free parking.

We arrived for breakfast and the person at the cash register seated us. Right after seating, a waitress came by and asked us to sign our name on the “short waitlist” and wait outside. I explained that we had been seated by an employee and...she looked annoyed and walked away, allowing us to stay. A different waitress came by to reiterate that we weren’t supposed to be seated yet and that they couldn’t take our order until our everyone in front of us on the “waitlist” had a chance to be seated and order and then walked away before I could reply. We waited 20 minutes to order and then 40 minutes to receive a standard breakfast. We were approached by our server only twice and I had to chase her down to get my water refilled. Two other tables with equivalent or larger groups(there were two of us) were seated after us, ordered, received their food, and paid before we even received our food. Unpleasant staff and terrible service all around.More

While staying in Ouray, we were looking for a great local restaurant for breakfast and found Kate's Place about 10 miles north in Ridgway. What a great family restaurant located one street north of Hwy 62 in the heart of Ridgway. Inside and outside (dog...friendly) seating. Nice menu, excellent food and fantastic service. Our food server was Heather, as I recall, and took great care of our family on each of our visits. We'll most definitely return the next time we pass through Ridgway.More

This place has a great outdoor seating area which is a perfect place to enjoy delicious coffee, a top notch omelet, fresh fruit, great service & reasonable prices. A must try for breakfast in Ridgeway.

I have now been to Kate's several times. It is consistently great !!! We had to wait for quite some time to get in. It has been that way every time - Sunday morning. But it's worth it. One of the waitresses is for some...reason a bit too pretentious. Perhaps just a bad day.More

We stopped for breakfast around 8am on a Sunday during a road trip and had a great experience. There is a large and open outdoor patio and all staff wore masks as well as people walking to/from their tables. Friendly server and great food. I...got biscuits and bacon and my boyfriend got the Rocky Mountain High omelette. Both meals were delicious and we were back on the road by 8:45. Will definitely swing by again in the future!More

Second time coming here as locals (to give it another shot) and after telling us to choose any table- we waited for 20min+ to get a menu and some water (both times). Our orders had missing items and the wait time between seeing your server...is colossal. The first time around we didn’t receive any sauces that were requested and didn’t see the waitress for the next 45min at all- even for the cheque. Not sure if there will be a next time.More

Good food. Great service. Variety of food was good. Really like their renowned lemon-blueberry pancakes. The skillet dish with eggs was good. The potatoes were very nice. Recommend.
