This is some of the best Mexican food i have ever had! It taste just like my grandmother used to make me. The green chili is so good, but the Special red (mommas red chili) is so delicious!! I had it smothered over my cheese enchiladas. I love this place. BEST place to get Mexican food in town!

Stopped in for dinner. Great place to eat! Service was great and food was really good. Had the beef chimichanga plate served with beans and rice. Chips and salsa were very good also. Prices were very reasonable. I don't eat green chille, so not sure about that! But would highly recommend Papa Jose's Union Cafe!

The amount of food you get for the price is AMAZING! They make their own chili and it is FANTASTIC! Have to try their homemade jelly as well!!

We've enjoyed meals at "Papa Joe's" for quite a few years. I usually get a combination plate to take advantage of the great varied selections that are offered. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal there. Oh, the French Fries are outstanding if you lean that way.

The wife and I had lunch at Papa Jose's while visiting Pueblo this past week for the first time. We really liked Pueblo. We liked PJUC too, although not quite as much. The pozole was OK, my spinach and cheese enchiladas were better (although the green chile sauce was surprisingly bland) and my chicken tamale was the best. My wife... More

Stopped in for dinner. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food was served hot and fresh. We had chicken and cheese enchiladas. Both dishes were served with beans and rice. We had fresh baked soppillas for desert.

If you want good green chili this isn't the place....it's more like green gravy. It tastes like a small amount of chili was watered down and thickened with flour. Very bland and disappointing. Salsa and guacamole. ...also bland. Chips are crispy though.

On Pueblo on business, and ate hear several times. A cross between a take out counter and a sit down restaurant, this little place makes great food very cheap. The green sauce is good and hot, and good over enchiladas. Seriously good posole.

I stop here often for a quick bite after a long day. A very friendly place with good food and drink. I enjoy visiting with the owners. Place to go for casual dining.
