There is not a sushi place in town that has better prices than Miyake. 1/2 price rolls from 4pm to 7pm. On top of the best prices, the place is always busy which means a good turnover for the food, fresher. Also, the sushi is good, not the best I have ever had, but well worth visiting over and over... Our family was there for dinner to celebrate our daughter's college graduation in April. This is the best Japanese restaurant in Pueblo! Great fresh sushi made to order, especially loved the crunchy sushi the best! Sashimi, California roll, Bento with tempura, etc. Everything we ordered was so onolicious! I've had Sushi there several times and has been very good, also had the Chicken Bowl it was okay but I prefer the Sushi. I little hard to fine if you are not from here.
I had lunch with a friend today, and am trying to eat plant based diet...chef did an incredible job of putting together a bento with eggless tempura, beautifully fried tofu...it was plentiful and delicious, and the helpful waitress was charming. My friend had the squid tempura, and said it was delicious as well.
I have eaten at Miyake on several occasions. The food is usually good, even though we have had incidences of spotty service. It seems that they cannot keep waitresses... On our last visit not only did we figure out why, but we decided we would never return. I watched as the owner yelled at the waitress in front of us... More
