The location has changed. It is now at 1227 E. Routt. If my grandmother was from Mexico, she would cook food like this. I do not recall eating better tamales than the ones served at Cuca's. They are smothered in a delicious green chili sauce and they are out of this world good. The food here is some of the... More

Very, very good flavors and service in laid back basic ambiance. My wife had the crunchy house specialty pork burritos and I had the chicken burritos. Sides were beans and rice. What really stood out was the green chili sauce on the burritos that was thick, spicy and flavorful but not too hot for our Gringo taste buds. Cuca's is now... More

We wanted Mexican food and this was recommended on TA as the best in Pueblo. The reviews were right. I had a chili relleno, tamale, chicken enchilada, rice, and beans, the other meal was 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. The food was so good we got 2 more enchilada dinners to take back to the hotel. Great green chili. They... More

I hot a chicken enchilada with green chile and a tamale...the enchilada was good but the tamale stole the show...I ended up buying g a dozen to take home. Be advised they are a cash - only establishment. There's an ATM across the street.

I travel a good bit in the Southwest and am always on the lookout for om-and-pop Mexican restaurants where grandma does the cooking and the rest of the family serves food and cleans up. The atmosphere is like a diner but very clean. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious. I ordered the enchilada plate and a... More

On the way back from golfing in Colorado City, we wanted to stop in Pueblo (Colorado) for lunch. After some research while approaching the city, we decided to go to Cuca's Mexican, which had some good reviews. Unfortunately, we headed to their old address, but after some more web searching, we found their new address (1227 East Routt Ave)! Really... More

Went to Cucas because of the favorable reviews it has on tripadvisor. We had burritos and enchiladas. Both plates were warm when served, on a hot plate. The green chile on both dished was excellent

1227 E. Routt, Pueblo, CO. Newer Location. Living in Pueblo, CO. We expect good Mexican Food. I didn't expect to eat the best 'Enchiladas Tejanas' I've ever eaten! They say 'authentic' is complementary. Even a great description of the menu items. However it simply doesn't prepare you for the balance of spices and flavors you are going to receive from... More

Cuba's is the best Mexican food in Pueblo. When people ask. where to get mexican food I always reffer them to Cucas. I love her chicken tacos. In a hurry we always get the bean and chicharron burritos. Her caldos are awsome when you need that warm me up on a cold day. Her cooking is just like mom and... More

My husband and I often travel through Pueblo, and have tried all the top ranked Mexican restaurants. Today we went to Cuca's Restaurant and had by far the best meal ever in Pueblo and we are hard to please. Her restaurant is impeccably clean, the service fast and friendly, and the food...let me tell you about the food. This is... More
