My experience at this restaurant over the last 2 years is vastly different than other reviewers. I first went to Arriba's when I moved here, with my mother. The cost was great for the portion size and the food was excellent. We liked the way...they plated and prepared the food, with a variety of toppings that allow you to pick exactly what you want and customize everything you get be it tacos, burritos, plates, etc. Just over a year after I moved here, I got a new job. It was early December and I was informed that as the new guy I was in charge of using the store holiday budget to plan and execute a Christmas lunch for the entire building! I really wasn't sure what to do. I researched extensively. I even taste-tested various options. Eventually, considering cost and previous experience with the food and the fact that everywhere else I had tried was terrible, I went with Arriba's. Everything went amazing. They kept in touch with me constantly that day, while I updated them on the time I would be wanting lunch. They had it all ready and hot, preparing it only when close enough to the pickup time so our food would not be cold! Their prices were dramatically more reasonable than anywhere else w/ twice the food, and an entire office of people agreed it was all delicious. Now, with covid still out there, I went back today to Arriba's because I missed it. They have amazing lunch specials that remind me of a time when the cost of living was realistic, especially meals. True to form, what i picked was made fresh right in front of me and to my order, and priced fairly which is a rarity these days. I walked out of there today happier because of the genuine friendliness of the staff. And the food was, as it has always been when I have gone, super delicious. Thank you to all the staff there. I wanted to write this review for my meal today and was reminded about my other experiences and I'm glad to see that you are still standing through covid and I urge others who have never been or not recently gone to try Arriba's!More

The food was horrible, had no taste what so ever. I asked for street tacos and they gave me a big tortilla with beef on it. Had no flavor. The beans looked old and that they have been sitting there for days. The rice was...crunchy, no taste. I will never come back. I am very disappointed.More

There are some really good excellent places in Pueblo and Pueblo West. I agree with the one review that the food looks better than it tastes. It is disappointing to be in Pueblo and eat chile that has no taste or heat. I understand that...rationale that they cook for the masses but the "green" chile should have some heat and look like they used chiles and seeds in it. The staff was super friendly and the overall atmosphere comfortable.More

The food LOOKS good. But it's so disappointing to take a bite of a smothered burrito and taste nothingness. The "green" chili doesn't appear to have any chilis in it except some red chili flakes that are hot but not flavorful at all.

I ordered the Chili Relleno burrito and watched them put green chili in a pan and scrabmle egg into it. Then they put this into a burrito. Sorry, but this isn't what I would call a Chili Relleno burrito. I wish they would change the...name. The staff was extremely nice. The green chili was very hot and tastey. The restaurant was very clean. Much cleaner than Arriba's. I guess one person used to work there then split and made this restaurant. Not sure why they would carry the name. Cleanliness 5/5 stars Staff 5/5 stars Chili Relleno Burrito 0/5 starsMore

This restaurant is very good. At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to eat here because you place your order at the counter, no table service, however, I was so happy I tried this place. Everything we have tried is outstanding. Great value for the...amazing food. Customer service is also outstanding. Definitely a place to try for outstanding Mexican Food!!More

Place closes at 9. Arrived about 8:30/8:40. Asked for two different things that they were 1. Out of and 2. “Well, we close in like 20 minutes, so.....”. On to third choice. Food had been sitting there a while-the beans (which made up 80% of...my beef and bean burrito) were warmed to the point of a thick, gluelike paste. The little beef in my burrito made me thankful the bean-glue made up 80% of my (terrible) burrito. The two beef tacos for my fiancé were filled with chorizo- which judging by the alacrity with which she threw them out (right behind my burrito, missing all of two bites) was roughly as great as the burrito of doom. My advice to you? Try Taco Bell’s dumpster-the food is probably fresher and you certainly won’t blow 18 bucks on it.More

Meals are served on a tray, making plenty of space available for large portions. The staff behind the counter was very friendly, explaining to us one of the local specialty salsas. (it wasn't busy when we were there.) The bathroom was even nice. The food...was good and we recommend this restaurant. Don’t go to a chain restaurant nearby when you can go to Arriba.More

Food is mostly pre-prepared, not exactly fresh. But ok for the most part. The worst is the customer service. The day manager was in the middle of preparing my food (was the only customer at that time) when another customer (obviously a regular) walked in....The Manager could not have dropped my food fast enough. She immediately asked the regular what she wanted and proceeded to help her - even cashing her out - before finishing my food. To boot, she gave the regular a customer appreciation 10% off - and I got nothing. But I did get the point. You are not an appreciated customer unless you go in daily. I complained and was offered a free burrito - but nothing about re-training the manager. Declined the free food as that was not the issue. The crappy thing is the owner was witness to the whole event and did nothing to correct the situation. There are too many other great places in Pueblo for superior Mexican food. SKIP THIS PLACEMore
