We visited last year and weren't impressed. Tried again and still weren't impressed. Salad had discolored lettuce that had a funny taste. The soup was thick and not very good. My small bowl had a carrot in it the size of my wrist. My son said the osso buco wasn't very good. My husband liked his pasta but he would... More

Surprising good Italian food. Good selection of food and wine. We went on a Friday evening and the place was hopping.

We visited with friends. Immediate service. Nice wine selection within normal budget. We ordered appetizers that were very good as we're the mains. I really have to praise the prices. In this vacation area many restaurants go wild on prices. Not here. Really good value. Lots of elderly patrons which shows value in locally known.

We were told by Theresa at the Poncha Lodge that Grimos was a wonderful restaurant. We were not disappointed! Service was great, the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

Such a great and romantic little restaurant! It wasn't far from the lodge we were staying at. My husband and I took a romantic walk to enjoy this place. The food and service was absolutely wonderful. The waitress was so kind and attentive. Best service. The wine is delicious too as well as the food. Would recommend this place for... More

This little gem is off the beaten path but oh my gosh is it good. The service was so friendly and quick. We ordered everything off the menu and devoured all of it. The pasta, the prime rib and the soups and salads are so good. They have several kinds of homemade dressings and the vegetable soup is delicious!!! This... More

There's a good reason that there's so many cars in the parking lot. Excellent food for a fair price. All dinners come with homemade soup and salad with homemade dressing. The entree portion size was large and very well made. I had the spaghetti and it was fabulous. My husband had the chicken parmesan and it was cooked to perfection.... More

Grimos has friendly waitstaff and good home-cooked Italian food. All meals included soup (we had minestrone) and salad. They have a very good dressing that has pineapple and mango with blue cheese. I also recommend the artichoke with Parmesan cheese appetizer and the Sicilian style calamari. Oh, and the bread is super soft and delicious. Enjoy

Our waitress was so friendly and attentive and the food tasted great. Portions sizes were huge and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

We ate at Grimos on our honeymoon many years ago and like to return from time to time when we are visiting the Salida area. We have found the food to be excellent and the service excellent. There are also great views of the mountains in the region. We recommend this restaurant for great traditional Southern Italian food!
