There's a good reason that there's so many cars in the parking lot. Excellent food for a fair price. All dinners come with homemade soup and salad with homemade dressing. The entree portion size was large and very well made. I had the spaghetti and it was fabulous. My husband had the chicken parmesan and it was cooked to perfection.... More

Grimos has friendly waitstaff and good home-cooked Italian food. All meals included soup (we had minestrone) and salad. They have a very good dressing that has pineapple and mango with blue cheese. I also recommend the artichoke with Parmesan cheese appetizer and the Sicilian style calamari. Oh, and the bread is super soft and delicious. Enjoy

Our waitress was so friendly and attentive and the food tasted great. Portions sizes were huge and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

We ate at Grimos on our honeymoon many years ago and like to return from time to time when we are visiting the Salida area. We have found the food to be excellent and the service excellent. There are also great views of the mountains in the region. We recommend this restaurant for great traditional Southern Italian food!

I wasn't expecting to find such an excellent restaurant here. Very cozy place, obviously popular with locals and tourists alike. Very authentic Italian food . I had an excellent lasagna, but more interesting dishes were on the menu. Wine was good also! You will not be disappointed!

Six of us went to dinner without a reservation (Our cell reception was bad so we couldn't make a connection.) Luckily, they were able to seat us quickly. A wide variety of Italian dishes. Don't go if you're in a rush. Grimo's is more conducive to relaxed dining.

I have been hearing about Grimo's for years and finally experienced the restaurant personally Sat night. How do you say WOW in Italian?? Impressive service combined with "saliva inducing" flavors..starting with vegetable soup and my choice of eggplant parmigiano and continuing with uberdelicious raspberry cheesecake and tirimisu. And no , I did not eat it all by myself! The Chef/owner... More

This is our second time being here and it was just as great as the first. We came in about 5 min befor they closed and we still got served with nice wait staff and hot great food. It is never dissapointing here and will for sure be back just as soon as we can.

We met our family from Salida and had one of the best Mother's Day ever! Our welcome was warm and we felt at home immediately. Our waitress was Rema and we totally enjoyed her. She was ready for our ever need and helped guide our orders to respect allergies. The food was SO good, from Lobster Casserole to Stuffed Salmon... More

I love the homestyle Italian menu and friendly service. Ambiance is great. Pricing is good considering you get entrée, soup, salad and bread. Desserts looked declicious and for a Tuesday in April, it was well attended. Portion amounts were just right.
