We ordered a few dishes from this restaurant via DoorDash recently because an acquaintance liked the Gyoza she had here. The two of us just selected two dishes with two appetizers largely based on ratings on DoorDash: Oyako Don (pan-cooked chicken with rice), Tonkatsu Ramen, Gyoza, and Seaweed Salad. The Oyako Don combines chicken with vegetables and rice, satisfying our main nutritional needs, and was quite tasty. The broth for the ramen was rich and flavorful, and the Tonkatsu pork seemed to be made with good-quality meat, although it did not have the crispy edges that one would often get at high-quality ramen shops. Gyoza was perhaps the best of the three meat dishes. The best thing turned out to be the seaweed salad, which had a balanced flavor profile – very tasty but neither too sweet nor too sour.

Wow, located in a small strip mall but is beautiful inside. Very friendly and fast service. I've been looking for a favorite dish that I had all the time while living in San Diego. Now I've found it here! Everything here was amazing, especially my favorite, Oyakodon! Can't wait to travel back here again.

This may be in a small strip mall, but the inside is nicely decorated and their sushi is fantastic. Excellent variety of sushi rolls! It's a favorite of ours.

Some friends recommended this restaurant for Sushi and for Teriyaki. I'm glad that they did. The food was wonderful, very fresh and tasty. The service was very efficient. We will definitely come back again.

We get Ginza very often, usually takeout but sometimes we dine in as well. The sushi there is very well made, and I’ve never had a bad roll! My personal favorites are the avocado and California rolls. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful. I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

We've been going to Ginza for several years, since they opened. We also get take- out frequently. The food has always been great, as well as the service. One favorite is the Seafood Udon soup; the broth is very flavorful and there is a lot of seafood with the soup. It's especially welcome all throughout winter. The sushi and rolls we've ordered have also been outstanding. There are many to choose from and we try to get a different one each time. And it's all a very good value for the money. Service is also very good, including calling ahead for take-out. The food is always ready when promised.

My son is a much more adventurous "eater" than I -- but since he was paying for lunch, I agreed to join him at Ginza Japanese Restaurant on Brown Deer Road in Bayside, Wisconsin. He recommended the Lunch Bento Special which included a California Roll, Salad, Spring Roll or Shumai, and a choice of one of several other options. I chose the chicken Katsu, something I had never even heard of before. (It reminded me of Veal Scaloppini.) My son ordered several exotic dishes. I know one of them was Grilled Squid and I think the other one was Sushi. The servings were so generous that he took home some tasty leftovers. We both very much enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food at Ginza.

A small group went with a friend who loves sushi. We had never tried sushi at all. The staff help was outstanding! We tried some appetizers to see what we might like. Some people were not crazy about raw fish. I loved it! We ordered a variety of rolls to share and was told by my friend the sake he had was very good. There are now three more sushi eaters! We will be back!

After a friend recommended this place & reading the positive reviews, I decided to give Ginza a try. I called a little after 11 AM to place an order to go. I ordered one Golden Dream Roll, one California Roll and one Avocado Cucumber Roll. I placed the first to-go order of the day, so my order was ready in 15 minutes, which was great! I was super excited about trying Ginza's sushi only to be disappointed. The Golden Dream Roll was a burst of flavors that tasted like they should've never been put together. The mango slices were too thick; the shrimp tempura was mushy; the avocado did not look fresh & the rice was hard (almost like it was from the day before). As for the other two rolls, they were not much better. There wasn't a good flavor and the ingredients tasted old. Service wise, the ladies who assisted me over the phone and in the restaurant couldn't have been better. They were kind and welcoming. Food wise, I wouldn't go back to Ginza. I've been to better places. It could be that I just tried the wrong items, but the ones I got were not a great representation of the restaurant.

Stumbled upon this place as a second choice when the first place didn't work out. What a find! Menu selection was excellent. Salads were fresh. Sushi rolls very good. Presentation also nice.

The food is one hundred percent amazing. The service on the other is not too good. Do not go there if you are in a rush or hurry. Other than that it is a great place.
