Went here right before attending a wedding at the town hall down the block. Really nice staff and solid sandwiches and food. We had a big party, and the one person making sandwiches knocked it out of the park. Also made us an extra BLT on accident, and didn't hesitate to give it to us for free when they realized... More

Off the beaten track but we were so glad we stumble on it. It is more than just ice cream. Two of us had the hot dog with chili and raw onions. You definitely need to eat it with a knife and fork. Very clean with seating both inside and outside. Helpful staff. Clean restrooms.

Try a summer or fall road trip from the Denver area south on Colorado 105 to Palmer Lake to get excellent ice cream and wonderful brats. A roadside stop well worth your time. Gourmet ice cream, hot dogs, brats, soup and sandwiches abound. Enjoy the food while looking around the Rock House history since 1927.

Went for an afternoon drive and stopped for ice cream. Baby cone and a brownie sundae! Cute, good price, fun stop!

We always save room when we eat in Palmer Lake for the homemade ice cream at Rock House. My favorites are the Raspberry truffle (raspberry ice cream with chunks of dark chocolate) and the Coconut, Fudge Almond. The patio is always bustling during the summer and is a wonderful spot for old and young alike.

Took the kids to Rock House on a lovely summer evening. Got upset after ordering my cone (Chocolate dipped waffle cone with Mississippi Mud and Fudge brownie ice cream...) because I didnt see the beautiful slices of apple pie at the register. Had my wife not been along I would have eaten both my cone and some pie...must appease my... More

We try to visit the Rock House once a week for our ice cream fix. The facility is super clean and well organized. Check out the back rooms for quiet tables and a nice selection of local crafts and occasionally, antiques for sale. Palmer Lake is a small, quaint town with several good hiking trails nearby. Train watchers will enjoy... More

The Rock House is a staple of Palmer Lake. Ice Cream brings everyone in because there's always a cool flavor to try including an ice cream nachos feature if you really want to pack it in. BUT if you need a little sustenance, the soup and sandwiches (or hotdogs) are great too. Perfect after an outing around the lake or... More

Stopped by after a not so good dinner. The yummy ice cream saved the night! This place is always fun to visit.
