There's a reason Ramone's is in the "middle of the pack" of Pagosa restaurants: the food is just average--nothing special--and the prices are a bit high for what you get. It's doubtful that we will ever return for another meal. Service was OK though.

After we just arrived to Pagosa Springs and not knowing where to eat, we walked up to Ramon's by chance from our condo. We were immediately seated outside but had to move inside due to it about to storm. They were very accommodating. The free warm chips and salsa were pretty good along with our entrees. It was a lovely... More

Being from Texas, I'm a little hard on Tex-Mex places outside of Texas. Ramone's is fine, but not exceptionally good. I had the huevos rancheros and the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the overall dish was just okay. The chips and salsa are quite good, though. Great service.

We were headed for Chato's to eat. Then saw Ramone's. Less crowded and a nice place to sit outside to eat. We were greeted quickly by friendly staff. We were seated quickly, but they were not very busy. Our server was very good taking care of all our needs and knew the menu well. The food arrived quickly and was... More

Always excellent food and great service. Pleasant atmosphere. We never make a trip to Pagosa that we don't stop at least once at Romons. Great place to eat.

I ordered the fried shredded beef burrito and it was excellent. Loved the refried beans as they had a good flavor, not at all bland like in many Mexican restaurants. We had fried ice cream for dessert - slightly let down as it was not freshly made, obviously the entire thing was pre-frozen. We were a party of seven and... More

Dispite being in a track row of miscellaneous building with a non script entrance, the food was very good. The vegi burrito was the best I've had on a long time! If was filled with mushrooms, onions, peppers, broccoli, and zucchini and smothered in a light Spanish sauce. The chicken enchiladas were also excellent and the rice and beans for... More

The food was not bad, per se, but it was most definitely not exceptional. The salsa had a good flavor and the chips were good, but a little thick for my liking. The meatball vegetable soup was also pretty good. I'm used to the Mexican food in Texas so I may be a little critical. As I said the food... More

I guess I can't speak for the food but we went to eat there and it smelled bad and we ordered margaritas before ordering food. The margaritas were disgusting so we left.
