We hear that the owners recently changed. Don't know how it was before but it was outstanding now! We had dinner there Saturday AND Sunday night! Service was superior and the food was outstanding! Each of us at our table of four ordered different things each night we were there and it was all very good and reasonably priced! Five... More

Boss Hogs is a large very busy restaurant on Route 160 as you enter Pagosa Springs from the west. The parking lot wraps around the restaurant which shares space with other establishments but is clearly the draw. The bar is a long Chicago Style wood/brass bar with numerous animal heads on the walls above. They offer a wide variety of... More

Plenty of parking, convenient location, greeted as we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, then waited another 10 minutes for our server to come to our table, server was young, polite and patient, food took 20 minutes to arrive, food was delicious but pricey, no WiFi, and the place was clean.

Semi rustic restaurant with western bar. The wait staff was pleasant and very attentive. The food was good with some unique offerings; only order the "Slopper" if you're really hungry. Typical western fare otherwise, but well prepared and a good value. We were there for an early dinner, but you could tell the place would be quite lively later.

This chain restaurant is predictable-- probably a good place for a quick lunch. Standard fare: burgers, fries, sandwiches, steaks, fried appetizers, etc. "Six shooter", a special of a 6 oz steak w/ 2 sides was a nice piece of meat and a good meal. The other meals of fried fish and fried shrimp were run of the mill and uninspired. Our... More

Our group of 6 stopped here for dinner expecting a long wait since it was the middle of the dinner hour on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted and seated quickly and then have a waiter show up within minutes to take our drink orders. As soon as we were ready... More

Meal didn't come with gravy-on-the-side as ordered, but it was quickly replaced. Food was very good. Wait staff very attentive.

We went in here after the Theatre and they were ready to close, but they welcomed us anyway. The waitress was delightful and didn't rush us at all. We all got the chicken fried steak. It wasn't great, but was really tasty for 10 pm. There was a CFS special, but we got the regular one which I think was... More

We had a group of 10 and were told they already had a group in the basement and they would get to us when they could. We were seated and waited for about half an hour before our order was taken. Then another 45 minutes to receive SOME of the food. Others in our group had to wait another 20... More

The decor belies it's otherwise average food and service. The food choices are pretty much average and for us the food arrived just warm. It was hot food and meant to be a bit warmer than it was served...had it been sitting on the pass? It seems the place is always busy so it can't be a bad experience for... More
