We ate there and the chips and salsa were very good! However the main course was the blandest Mexican food I've ever had. I had seared beef with bell peppers and pineapple and it had no taste. I would go back and try something else just to give them a chance but the cook doesn't need to be afraid of... More

big servings for breakfast. A small place in a small strip mall but the food is good A little out of the way and easy to miss but worth a stop.

Not the best we have had but it still was good enough for us to consider going back again. Their salsa was very good but their chips were thicker than I prefer. The place was very busy when we were there so it appears to be a popular choice. Prices were moderate and the portions were generous.

We have eaten at the restaurant a few times now, and are never disappointed! Excellent Mexican food! Love the enchiladas, tacos al pastor are excelente! We always experience great friendly service! We'll be back!

The worse chile relleno I've ever had! Our friends were staying at a Timeshare in Pagosa Springs and invited us for a few days. They've liked Chavolos in the past but it was the worst chile relleno I've ever had and I've had a lot!! When the waiter took my plate away with a whole uneaten chile relleno, he commented... More

Don't be deceived by the location. It is a little strip center. We got a shredded chicken burrito and a taco salad to go. Both were very yummy. Everything was fresh! The salsa was very good too.

Don't be fooled by the location and exterior of the building. Chavolos offered outstanding service and food. Portions are huge - consider sharing. Prices reasonable. Service was outstanding - they made fresh decaf for my husband ! The migas were delicious and the choice of salsas made breakfast that much better

We had a great meal, great service and the best sunset ever from our seat. Don't miss the margueritas.

Breakfast burritos are amazing! I had the muchacho and a friend had the chorizo. I could only eat half. Had the other half for lunch. My husband had huevos rancheros and loved it!!

Recently visited again with family on the way to Durango. It's a Friday evening, but already 8pm. The place was not very busy, but somehow everything was super slow. 15 minutes to get seated, another 15 minutes before someone greeted us at the table, 15 minutes to place the order... Also, the beef fajita I ordered was super salty, wonder... More
