We enjoyed a great salad and pizza with varied wine selections. The menu had many items available, so we will return soon to try something else.

As a former professional chef I am typically very critical, but the cuisine and service here are probably the best in Pagosa Springs. This is a great place for a special occasion or if you just want a nice high-end dining experience in this small...town. All the food is top notch, but the salmon and the fillet mignon are outstanding.More

Salads were very good but thats where it ends. Rack of lamb overcooked and duck breast totally tasteless. Waitress never came by to check on our meals - took our order and brought the check. That was the extent of our service. High priced for...what was delivered. Would not go back.More

I had the filet and it was delicious, as was the sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli. The service was great. Also loved the creme brûlée. Although a high priced restaurant, I say it was worth it.

We had a reservation for 9 people on a Saturday night! We had amazing cocktails! Love the empress gin lemonade! I also loved the cucumber martini! The food was 5 star! The service was even better! Our waitress Jane was attentive and friendly. Our whole...service was PERFECT! We were celebrating my mom’s birthday out of town. Our whole table was blown away by our fabulous server Jane and the food! We will be back!More

The Alley House is always on our list of must eat places during our annual trip to Pagosa. First , I had 10 back and forth emails to make our reservation as they were not answering the phones when I called several times. They were...friendly and accommodating once we got it all settled. This was our first visit since their expansion. It was great to see much more seating and the beautiful new space. Their new cocktails were great and we loved the Peach Ring. However, paying what we paid for dinner, we should not have had to spend the entire meal swatting flies and sweating because the patio door remained open and it appeared there was no AC in the new addition, which doesn’t work when it was 99 degrees. Our waters were warm, the mashed potatoes cold and my scallops were teeny tiny. We have had wonderful experiences here in the past but this was not one of them.More

We were a total of 7 (3 couples and my daughter) and wanted a wonderful meal. Our friends from Pagosa made reservation for our meal at 5:30pm on a Sunday. I wish I could remember our waitress’ name (she was a thin brunette with a...beautiful smile) because she was extraordinarily wonderful. Each of our meals was perfection. I had the strawberry spinach salad (delicious!) and half chicken with wonderful fresh carrots, green beans and mashed potatoes. My husband had the Ahi Tuna which he said was exquisite. My only slight disappointment was the desserts which didn’t meet the standard for excellence which the wine & spirits, the appetizers and the entrees and salads all exceeded.More

I am keen advocate of farm to table eateries, with good meats. Alley didn't disappoint, a great selection; my wife and myself had RibEye and the Duck. Amazing.

What a disappointment, I hate writing negative reviews but find them helpful in decision making for choosing a restaurant. We expected so much more from this restaurant. Appearance was beautiful and enjoyable; but the food was awful. The cost was very expensive, and that is...what we expected. The food was not up to the standards for the cost of the meal. I was throughly embarrassed to tell the staff that the meal was horrible. We have been to this restaurant before and have not had this experience but I cannot in good conscience let others have a meal this badly arranged.More

Spacious restaurant with excellent, attentive staff. Specialty drinks deliciously refreshing (the "Mule"), generous servings-we split the big wedge salad. My husband's short ribs came cold in the middle--was replaced with an entire new plating--succulent! Tho' somewhat spendy, worth the $$$$.

Not sure the question was directed to me. I have no control over what the restaurant serves, so I can't answer.
