Manager Chris blamed me for having a bad experience here. I’ve been coming here as a local for almost ten years now but won’t be back after tonight’s confrontation. After not getting what I ordered and then having it come out less than desired I...placed another order for sliders off the starters menu. My family finished and we still were waiting so I asked to get them to go. That’s when the manager came out and treated me like I had done something wrong. He was rude and offered no apologies for a terrible night...nothing.More

Nice atmosphere and friendly employees. Prices are about right for a nice place in New York. Food was a step up form Red Lobster.

We went here for our birthdays/anniversary dinner, expecting a romantic dinner. We waited 20 minutes before we even saw our waitress. It was a special occasion so we tried to go with the flow, even though they were not busy. When our waitress finally showed...up I asked what kind of beers they had, she didn't know, but she could see the bar and rattled off a couple. Nothing sounded good so I said I'll just have water. The look she gave me was pure disgust, again I let it go trying to have a good night. My husband ordered a beer and our waitress left. After another 10 minutes with no beer and no waitress to take our order we left. So disappointed. But we found a little restaurant (City Hal) that had amazing service, so our night was nt completely ruined.More

I want to give a better review, but I can’t. I made a reservation for 3 in the dining room area and we arrived on time. The host apologetically offered us the “last table” closest to the chilly front door, which if undesirable from the...host’s standpoint, maybe the restaurant should get rid of that seating arrangement or find another placement for a 4-top table? So we opted for the warm but loud bar seating area. Our server was not attentive but the wait staff that brought our food and filled our water did a much better job instead. Food was OK - but not that memorable and was delivered late post-ordering and the timing was off. Within 5 minutes of finally receiving our appetizers 40 minutes after being seated, our main dishes arrived. We were that table with a million plates to reorganize and make space for the sudden influx of food. There are not that many food choices in Pagosa, but from now on, I’d rather go to Thai Pagosa on repeat than ever eat here again. This place has had funky vibes for years now as we have been here before as well.More

this was our second visit -recent- and they were consistent again with food quality and attentive service. Bravo!

Nice place, Tim are server did a good job. We came in to check the restaurant out, first time in Pagosa, we came in for the Happy Hour Special. 25% off appetizers We ordered drinks and 5 different appetizers Calamari it was good Pork belly...ok Shrimps with prosciutto , shrimp bland Fried cauliflower ok Bruschetta ok We had desserts Peach cobbler. Very good Pumpkin bread pudding Very good Maple cake ok My disappoint in this restaurant Is that you had to set at bar stools to receive the discount. We should have read the complete post to see you had to set at bar stools, and I think our server should have told us when we just ordered appetizers that we needed to be at the bar stools.More

Firstly we were seated in the noisy but beautiful bar area. I asked to be moved to the quiet room, with tablecloths even. The wine recommendation was spot on. However the food really disappointed. The beet salad was too vinegary, and some of thre salad...leaves were old. Then my spaghetti squash enchiladas arrived, and were lukewarm, as were the mushrooms, and too spicy as well. ( i like a good spice!) My husband had the scallops, which were too salty, though the Brussel sprouts were delicious. By the way we did receive a complimentary beet salad after letting the waitress know.More

Hands down: best restaurant in Pagosa. We visit Pagosa 2 or 3 times a year & always make reservations at the Alley House. (We even gave AHouse gift cards to several friends and now they are big fans.) We are visiting this week and have...reservations again. Fantastic drinks and the food has always been on point for us.More

Awful service, bartender was the worst. Waitperson tried, but couldn’t make up for bad service by bartender and cook staff, took forever to get food and drinks, can’t say worth it the wait..really wanted to like this place, but don’t go here unless you have...a few hours to eatMore

We love Alley House for its' delicious menu choices, always consistently prepared and high quality, a great wine selection and excellent, professional staff. It is our favorite place to celebrate special occasions and also have a relaxing quick dinner. There is a "grill" side that...has a slightly more cozy feel as well as another room with a bar, tvs and a little more casual feel. Steaks have always been cooked to perfection, as well as other main dish selections. They also have a great selection of cocktails and desserts!More

We stayed at The Springs resort and tried this restaurant on the first night, we liked it so much that we ate there every night. We were impressed by the incredible service, delicious food, and perfectly poured drinks. We had the pleasure of Sarah as...our beautiful accommodating server. She is knowledgeable, fun, and went above and beyond for us. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to Chris the manager. It was so nice to see a manager helping out his staff and doing whatever was needed. We will definitely be back!More
