The service was pretty good. It took a little while but was worth the wait. The prices are great. The place was a bit warm and slightly uncomfortable but certainly bearable.

Had better food in jail, fewer bugs, stronger coffee. Of all the places I've vowed to avoid, this is 2nd on the list (after jail). Service was slow and unfriendly, food way salty, dry toast, and watered down coffee. Plus, there were filthy kids running around the cafe (not their fault), one sucking on a salt shaker! Poor value! The... More

Well this was a huge disappointment!! We ordered an Uncle Padre's skillet and eggs benedict. The skillet was to have had tomatoes, cheese, suasage, chiles, potatoes, and mushrooms. Well there was no cheese, no mushrooms, no chiles, no sausage, 1 piece of tomato, about 10 chucks of potatoes and a piece of lettuce?? My benedict had eggs over hard instead... More

I have never left an unfavorable review about any establishment, but I feel that in this case I must warn other patrons not to waste their money on this place. We should have asked around, but we didn't. The menu in the window looked great and our grandkids were able to order grilled cheese. Now how hard can it be... More

Every penny we spent here was a waste. Service was slow, and seemed as tho our waiter could barely be bothered to wait on us. That could be because he was also the host, the busboy, and the cook. I guess the locals have learned to stay away, and that's a shame - this used to be a nice restaurant.... More

Well it didn't send us running as we entered, but the place was cold. Easily under 55*F inside. Considerably warmer than the 9*F outside, but definitely not warm enough to remove ones jacket. The place was barren when we arrived, decided to come here since Maggie's was closed. The gentleman who greeted us was friendly. The waitress was either a... More

Judging from other reviews, lots of people are not happy with this place, but we had breakfast here twice and both times it was good, average food. I did like the fact that they had a juicer and both mornings had a kale & carrot drink with a veggie omelet. My husband had typical bacon, eggs and toast combo and... More

I had the eggs benedict. It was very good as was the coffee. A great way to start the day as I headed out onto the Highway 550 south.....

Other than the waitress (who we know was trying her best given the circumstances) this cafe was simply terrible. It started when a tall young man, dressed in filthy cloths, came into the cafe dressed in filthy cloths. He proceeded to the kitchen where he made a meal for himself, sat down among the few diners ate and left. We... More
