The place is interesting, during the winter I enjoy the cozy cabin feel, with a wood burning stove too. The beer seems weak though. I had about 76 ounces of beer there and didn't even get a buzz. I woke up the next morning and...More

If you want an experience, this place is a gem. There are awesome eccentric details throughout and it stands out from all the generic breweries that have popped up. If you are expecting your bartender to answer stupid questions, get ready to be glared at....you...More

Why not? Local brew, local person. Grumpy or not, I enjoy a good brew and found it here. Tried both the stout and golden ale. Amusing decor, rocking chairs and some good weather to go with.

I won’t leave Ouray without a stop at Mr Grumpy Pants’ bar. If you want something fancy, go elsewhere. If you want good beer from what is clearly a good man’s passion project, this will be your jam.

Cozy bar to grab a fresh beer. Settle down next to the wood stove with friends or attempt to master the unique drinking game or just marvel at the art on the walls.

Had lunch at Maggie's Kitchen (same building but separate entrances) but Mr. Grumpy Pants wasn't open then....which made me grumpy! Sign said "will open 4ish..." Walked around town and by 3ish he was already open. The Smoked Brown Ale was pretty good! Sat outside enjoying...More

Loved the relaxed atmosphere here. This is in the same building as Maggie's Kitchen. The dining porch in front has been recently remodeled and looks great with more seating.

Just not my mug of beer. Seriously Mr grumpy pants let's up the game on the brewing. I'm surrounded by grumpy people - I don't need grumpy people serving me beer they made when they were grumpy.
