We had read about Mouses Chocolates and needing a quick cup of coffee before heading back out to the Dallas Divide area, my brother an I stopped at Mouses. I had two of the truffles and my brother had a concoction (don't remember the name) that resembles what I remembered as "Hello Dollies." Both were mighty fine!

Went in after dinner for a treat. There were flies in the chocolate case, very unappetizing. Husband got ice cream - Mocha Almond Fudge. Probably the blandest ice cream we have eaten in years. Disappointed. Could be a great place as the atmosphere is nice. The candy looked great, but not trying with flies. Get better quality ice cream.

We loved the chocolates and ice cream there. The coffee was just ok. I think we had a mocha. But everything else including service was great.

The chocolates are good but I don't see paying over $8 a pound. The regular toffee and turtle didn't seem much different than home made.

Don't pass through Ouray without treating your sweet tooth to excellent local chocolate made on the premises at Mouse's Chocolate. After hiking in the mountains (or ice climbing in winter, the few extra calories hardly count. The espresso drinks expertly made and complement the chocolate perfectly. Mouse's Chocolate is a must stop as you take in the Million Dollar Highway.... More

The shop welcomes you with deliciously sweet smells of chocolate and coffee. The treats are beautifully displayed. We had the scrap cookies on our first visit and had to return for their ice cream sundaes. Definitely stop here while in Ouray!

Delicious hand-made ice cream, thick and creamy shakes, great coffee and amazing breakfast burritos. Great little spot in the heart of Ouray.

Established in 2001.

We are a small family of chocolatiers and coffee roasters living in a small town nestled in the San Juan Mountains in the southwest corner of Colorado.

We use only the finest Belgian chocolate and make everything by hand. Our shop is open everyday except Christmas.

Stop by if you are in the neighborhood. We'd love to hear stories about how our chocolate has been a part of your lives. It brings us together in our love for chocolate, fine ingredients and sharing them with our family and friends.
