I came in for a soup and salad with my mom, and this place was perfect. It was nice and cozy, and the staff was friendly. The portion was perfect as well.

This is a favorite meeting place with my clients because the sandwiches are superior and the service excellent. This isn't fancy, I bus my own table and the water glasses are plastic however, the soups are fresh, the grilled cheese sandwich excellent and the atmosphere friendly.

One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had. The pig was from a local farm. I did not want it to end. The red peppers and onions were done just right for me. I will return next time I am passing through Montrose.

We got some coffee and pastrys their. the coffee was good, and there was a good selection. The pastrys were fresh but a little pricey. Definitely a good spot.

We are still open ....our doors have never been closed....we are open Monday through Friday 630 to 4 pm. We still have wonderful home made soups and daily specials. I don't know how it got confused or what has happened but we have been in business almost 30 years and don't plan on closing anytime soon. Hope to see you... More

It used to be a good bakery and sandwich shop, but alas they have closed their doors for good. You can no-longer enjoy the tempting sweet rolls or the tasty BLT with onion. The outstanding homemade soups are no longer.

On a street corner in Montrose, Colorado is a fantastic bakery/cafe that is top notch for pastries, daily lunch fare, and heavenly breads. after much decision making my friend and I both chose a bowl of corn chowder served with a multi-grain sunflower seed roll. A good choice, the soup was thick, creamy and chock full of sweet local corn.... More

The Daily Bread is the best small town breakfast spot! Unfortunately they are no longer open on weekends so I can't go anymore (shoe making is a full time job)! We used to take all of our visitors there so we could fill up on delicious buckwheat pancakes before heading out on an adventure. The prices are reasonable and the... More

The Daily Bread boasts a reputation as Montrose's best breakfast joint, and it's easy to see why. The portions are ample and the ingredients are fresh and made-to-order. Counter service ensures that you're not at the mercy of wait staff, and the food arrives piping hot from the kitchen. The skillet breakfasts are especially filling, but lighter eaters may find...
