Briarhurst Manor was a birthday dinner treat my husband surprised me with on our trip to Colorado. We had a rather late reservation (8PM), and found the restaurant mostly empty, which provided a incredibly intimate experience. We ate in the garden room with a windowside table with views of the sunset behind Pikes Peak. Service was impeccable, and menu choices... More

This is a pricey restaurant, but the food is excellent. We received awesome service from Megan. We ordered the 5 course meal and began with a duck amuse bouche that really set the stage - it was excellent. The house salad was also very nice and this was followed by a lemon sorbet. The venison was cooked to perfection and... More

We were visiting friends in Colorado and they introduced us to this wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere and service were impeccable, and we enjoyed the various menu choices. I had the barbecue duck and my wife had the trout and both were truly delicious with very generous portions. The highlight was the dessert we shared, a chocolate bomb with hot salted... More

Took my wife here for our 5th anniversary. Both of us had the 5 course meal dinner I purchased on Groupon. The staff were excellent. The manor and dinning rooms are spectacular and the food was amazing! We loved their specialized desserts. It was so good, we just went back recently and had the surf and turf steak Dianne and... This was our second Dinner at Briarhurst Manor and everything seemed better than our first time. Service was excellent, but not stuffy. Not only did the food taste wonderful, but the presentation was amazing. Dining areas are spread out in rooms throughout the historic house. This time we dined upstairs in the master bedroom. We had a later reservation 7:30p... More

After a long day on the Cog Train to Pikes Peak, and a rain soaked walk around Manitou Springs we made our way over to Briarhurst Manor for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at the service and food quality at this old mansion turned restaurant. Megan, the hostess and Jamie, our server were both excellent. Very professional and cordial. Chef... More

We come to Manitou once a year or so, and each time check in with the Briarhurst. The menu is good menu-porn for someone from the sticks, so we savor it almost as much as the actual selection. When making the reservation, we were asked about any food issues (I have many), and our waitress, lo and behold, had talked... More

I have to say this is one of the nicest meals I've had in a long while. The manor and grounds are stunning! And the cuisine and service match. We were on an RV trip so we were dressed nice but not especially dressed up and they treated us like celebrities. We really loved the menu and it was a... More

Every course in the meal was awesome. Huge compliments to the chef. The Briarhurst is kind of like the Little Engine that Could in the atmosphere and service department. Of course the Manor itself is gorgeous but people are crammed into rooms and so I wouldn't say it's luxurious. The staff are cordial but a little too NPRish for us,... More
