After an incredibly busy dad's day in Colorado Springs with my three teenagers, we decided to try the Cliff House for dinner. Though a bit bedraggled and without reservations, we received a requested table and came to realize what a terrific place this is (last visit was a few years ago). The food -- salads, steak, duck, trout and a... More

Made a reservation ahead of time, but not very busy when we went. I ordered a $7 salad that was rather disappointing--it was very small and I struggled to find the blue cheese crumbles and literally TWO very tiny pieces of pecan. It was also hard to tell that there was any dressing on it at all. I had the... More

Disappointed. We were hoping to look around Cliff House and maybe have a drink at the bar. However, there was a group having a rehearsal dinner, and the maître d’ basically chased us out of wherever we went. They also seemed to have short-staffed the wait service at the restaurant for the night because the service was very slow. The... More

Wonderful wait staff (Herb and Lorenz). The salmon was exceptionally good. The elk ribeye was not as expected - but still good. It is more like filet mignon and very lean. Mine was a little tougher than I would have expected. Complementary breakfast was also nice. Served buffet style - but had a large variety.

Had a nice dinner here with friends. The dining room is overlooking a very pretty old post office, and the room is filled with little touches of a finely built old building. We started with the lobster bisque and Caesar salad, which were both good, but not great. The seafood risotto was excellent, with lots of seafood in it. The... More

I reviewed this under the Cliff House hotel instead. I can't say enough wonderfully complementary things about this lovely restaurant, and their staff. The waiters, sommelier, chef, musician, divine food... Read my other review for a more comprehensive view. Suffice to say, it's my husband and my new favorite restaurant.

I believe the title summarizes our visit on Saturday evening, but will add that Kim and Ron waited on us and we're both a joy. They were attentive without being intrusive. This restaurant is a fine dining establishment without the high prices and there are plenty of enticing options. We had a bottle of wine, split an appetizer, two of... More

My wife and I spent our 5 yr anniversary at the Cliff House Hotel and after seeing the reviews of the dining room we reserved a table for dinner one night. My wife surprised me by having a miniature replica of our wedding cake prepared by the kitchen (she called ahead a few days in advance). The food was excellent.... More
