About
The Absolute Bakery and Cafe, is located in downtown Mancos, Colorado, just two blocks south of the town's only traffic light. We bake and cook everything from scratch, using organic, local and fresh ingredients. It's all homemade: from the eggs and hashbrowns, to eclectic soups and salads with our own delicious dressings, pastas from different parts of Europe, and our own red and green chile sauces in a wide variety of Southwestern fare. If you're needing a quick pick-me-up, we have a full coffee and espresso bar featuring locally roasted, fair-trade, organic coffees. The ABC offers you a fine-dining experience without the glitter. We visited here on our way to Mesa Verde, and it was so good we had to come back the next day when we were leaving. The breakfast burrito and scones were delicious, and the southwest strudel was absolutely incredible. A very cozy set up...More

I visited this establishment on the way to a Mesa Verde hike. It was quite busy but our orders were taken quickly. Food arrived ,everyone was happy especially with our take away cake selection. I will visit again soon.

Had to wait which was ok but people arriving after us kept getting seated ahead of us. Turned out when our name was put on the wait-list we were assigned a specific table & would be seated when it cleared. Many groups who arrived as...More

This bakery and cafe are on main street at the small bridge. My husband and I had the soup and sandwich plate. It was very good. But my eye was on the sweet treats. I selected several different cookies, pastry, and cake. We ate it...More

Had heard great things so decided to try it. The dessert offerings are wonderful. The sandwich and side were disappointing. Bread was small and the edges, more than just the crust, were hard as a rock. The coleslaw side was basically shredded cabbage and had...More
