Wonderful local bakery/restaurant for breakfast/brunch lunch. Very popular but worth the wait. If you're in a hurry get some bakery goods to go, they are delicious. If you do have time try one of their fantastic breakfast plates, your day will be happy. Unpretentious, tables crowded together but smiling friendly service.

This is THE PLACE to eat in Mancos, especially for breakfast. All of the food is fresh, with innovative touches that turn the ordinary into something special. The homemade bakery items are yummy, especially the ginormous cinnamon rolls. I also liked that the servers do not depend on tips, so all employees work together to ensure great customer service.

The food was great although it could have been hotter. The coffee bar was busy and very good coffee but it also could have been hotter. Had the food and the coffee been 15 degrees hotter we would have given 5 stars!

Breakfast here is a must! Homemade baked goods and innovative egg dishes abound. The atmosphere is homey and western. We ate here three times during our stay in the area

This place is adorable. Friendly staff. Super yummy comfort food. Fresh and fabulous. Went on a Sat morning, was busy with locals and travelers. We shared the Mesa Verde stack and some sourdough wheat pancakes. Delicious. Highly recommend!!!

We went at 9am on a Sunday and it was very busy with a long wait. It was worth it though. I had the veg head which was delicious. Coffee and fruit pot were both good and service was pleasant, if busy. Definitely recommend.

Description
The Absolute Bakery and Cafe, is located in downtown Mancos, Colorado, just two blocks south of the town's only traffic light. We bake and cook everything from scratch, using organic, local and fresh ingredients. It's all homemade: from the eggs and hashbrowns, to eclectic soups and salads with our own delicious dressings, pastas from different parts of Europe, and our own red and green chile sauces in a wide variety of Southwestern fare. If you're needing a quick pick-me-up, we have a full coffee and espresso bar featuring locally roasted, fair-trade, organic coffees. The ABC offers you a fine-dining experience without the glitter. Enter the one hundred year-old Bauer Bank Building and immediately you are tantalized by the aromas of fresh breads and pastries coming hot from the oven. Our friendly waitstaff greet you with smiles. The vintage decorative tin ceiling, a variety of tables and chairs, the local artwork adorning the walls, as well as a great selection of used books for your browsing pleasure add to the unique, eclectic and cozy atmosphere that is so inviting to both locals and visitors.
