Finally made it back to the bakery!! We had ham and Swiss omelette with toast and potatoes, the breakfast special and coffee. We also took 2 lavender lemon cookies and ginger apple bars for the road!! Food was fresh and tasty and service was excellent!

Absolute best sandwiches I’ve ever had…… anywhere! Service was great and very friendly. Wish I lived there.

We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Mesa Verde National Park. What a gem. Cool vibe, covid-friendly, nice people, busy place where you may have to wait at prime times, but worth it. They have so much to choose from and it is...so delicious! We are vegetarian and there were many things for us here, which is sometimes hard.More

Stopped for lunch after touring Mesa Verde. The food was excellent. Two of us had quiche, it was light, fluffy, tasty and the crust was excellent. The hamburgers were great. One person had a turkey sandwich and the bread was terrific. We shared several different...varieties of cookies. One was better than the next. Loved the molasses cookies and any of the chocolate chip cookies were delicious. They did have outdoor seating. Bathrooms were spotless. A gem not to be missed.More

Popular local bakery, breakfast and lunch spot in artsy Mancos, Colorado. Satisfying breakfast of espresso and “The Stack”-hash browns, scrambled eggs, green chili and melted cheese with toast—delicious! Take a stroll down Grand Street to the bridge that crosses a creek by the beautiful local...library and the cidery Fence line; galleries and more in this quaint SW town.More

They just keep doing it right!! Breakfast or lunch, they have something for everyone. They have even figured out the best way to deal with Covid!! I would recommend a stop anytime you might be hungry and in Mancos... maybe just coffee and one of...their homemade pastries... it's all good!! AND... they have great staff!!More

This bakery / restaurant seemed to struggle with Covid related accommodations. You order at the counter then you pick it up as if to-go and then you carry it to the dining area. The ordering area was noisy with all kinds of baking machines. I...ordered from someone who looked like she was new, then along came the trainer who took the rest of the order, not knowing I had already ordered some stuff from the trainee. When my breakfast didn’t appear I was treated as if I was to blame because they claimed I couldn’t be heard (admittedly it was a challenge with mask plus kitchen noise). The blueberry-chocolate chip scone I ended up getting tasted day-old. Not a good start to the morning, but some of the bakery case items looked great—wish I had ordered a date square and had done with it.More

We are staying about 9 miles outside of Mancos for this trip. This was listed as the closest place for coffee. Decided to take a chance. Got there a bit after 10am the first time, and most of the bakery items had already sold. That...was a sure sign that the stuff is damn good. Got a cup of dark roast coffee, and this was my first encounter with super excellent coffee since I had left Texas. Went again this morning for coffee, more bakery items were available, but it was very clear that the stuff moves really quick. Again, damn good sign of excellent food. Coffee (dark roast again - I like my coffee dark, just like my soul) was superb again. Leaving for Texas tomorrow...this will be my stop for breakfast before heading out on the road. I highly recommend this place. A super big plus, Grateful Dead on the store's speakers. This place certainly vibes strong with this Dead-head. :)More

Don't let ordering at the counter fool you, this is more than a bakery coffee shop. The omlettes are amazing - I recommend the chorizo and peppers.

We were traveling from Durango, CO to Moab, Utah, and were looking for a place for breakfast since there was none at the hotel. We pulled into this small town and found this restaurant in a construction zone off the main highway. Because of COVID,...they were only doing counter service, but they had a few tables in a back room and outside in the front. We ordered the special of the day which was a mound of hashbrowns topped with eggs, various meats and a chili gravy. It was outstanding and enough to share. We'd definitely eat at this restaurant again.More

Very good food, baked goods, and espresso-based coffee drinks in this cozy, small town location. Sampled their coffee, breakfast burritos, scones, salad, and dinner pizza across several days of visits and each was a delight; 5+/5 for taste, freshness and quality. The bakery and small...town of Mancos are located near Mesa Verde, and visitors may find an area weary from and wary of tourists and other outsiders. Remember to follow the Golden Rule when visiting, and set realistic service expectations as a guest and you’ll leave the bakery and community full, satisfied, and glad you visited.More

Unbelievably good breakfast, especially the cinnamon roll. Iced Vanilla latte was fantastic as well. Service was very friendly and the decor was super cute. One of our favorite stops in the area for sure!

We got off 160 in Mancos on our way to Mesa Verde, and we were lucky to happened upon Absolute Bakery. The bacon, egg and green chili breakfast wrap was delicious, BUT the blueberry scone was amazing!! Wish your bakery was close to our home!

This place was adorable. Some of our baked goods were burnt and a little dry which was a disappointment but the breakfast burritos were excellent!
