Henry's Pub in historic downtown Loveland is both a great place to eat and a beautiful building as well. The building looks like a late 19th Century saloon. Tin ceilings, old wood floors, and a lovely bar.
The food is excellent as well. Walleye, burgers, pasta, fried chicken to name but a few items on the menu. Henry's also offers specials every day. The bar offers a variety of good drinks and local beers.
Serv ice is fast and friendly and on Saturday nights you can sit outside and listen to music while you have dinner. All of the dining options are COVID sensitive for safety. A great place to have lunch or dinner any time!

After a brief wait on a busy weeknight we were seated at a fairly quiet table near the front window. Our server seemed a bit stressed, but took the time to be pleasant while taking our order. The food came out surprisingly promptly, and was very tasty. My wife appreciated the gluten-free options available and I enjoyed the wine options. Although we might have liked a quieter dinner, Henry's was most convenient before a show at the Rialto next door.

We found this place via Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Our server, Maggie, could not have been better! My wife asked about one of the dishes on the menu and based on what she said about it, Maggie steered her toward a different steak. It was perfect! I had the shrimp and grits and it was also excellent. We highly suggest Henry's!

First off I really want to make a point and say the food was good. But the service was TERRIBLE. And that deserved all capitals for real. The waitress was incompetent and literally forgot our order 3+ times. She could have written it down but didn’t? I even asked it if was against the rules to write it down, but it wasn’t. Had to double check every order-drinks, appetisers, mains, etc. The worst was when she spilled HOT grits and shrimp all over my husband’s shoes-it burned my dad’s hands as well because he instinctively tried to catch everything she was dropping. We still tried to enjoy our dinner out but I had to say something to the restaurant GM and she was super aggressive. It was a very unpleasant dining experience and she made us feel like it was our fault. She took two apps off the bill and asked “well what else do you want?” when all we wanted was good service, a pleasant time, and a sincere apology. My parents go there all the time, and they won’t be going back. Thanks for that Andrea.

Hi Keriann,

Two of us had dinner at Henry's a week ago. The food was really good and we thought we'd found a new favorite. We returned today for lunch. We got burgers and fries - not too complicated, but everything was overcooked. The buns were black, the "medium" burgers were dry and had not a hint of pink, and the sweet potato fries were shriveled and dry. We complained to the server who said we weren't the first ones to complain about overcooked food today, and that she tells the kitchen staff, but they don't listen. Wow, management has a BIG problem. Not particularly interested in going back.

This is our go-to place to eat in Loveland. The weekly special cuisine by Eric is the best in Loveland. We try other places in town and often find ourselves saying, "Let's go to Henry's!" The Sunday Walleye is excellent (fried, grilled, or blackened) and Eric keeps finding other ways to satisfy our taste buds. He and the kitchen excel at ameri-mex fusion dishes. Thanks to Brian the excellent staff for making this a place we return to again and again and again. And Again. We love y'all... JNJ. Just sayin'...

Went with a small group of friends Dec 28/23. Ordered steak sandwich & French Onion soup. Very disappointed as service was 30-minute wait for food after ordered and the steak sandwich was just a small sirloin sliced and put on a piece of toast. Ordered med was arrived more than well done & dry like shoe leather. Open faced sandwich could barely be cut with a steak knife.
French onion soup was also scorched and terrible. Would have complained but didn't want to disrupt our already slow lunch with friends. Apparently, Henry's is too busy and too many items to excel in my opinion. They had Shepard pie & the other a burger which they said was just okay.
Had the walleye there several times and it was ok; again, the wait again was over 30 min. Sadly, probably our last

My 3 friends and I had a spectacular St. Patrick’s Day lunch of the most delicious corned beef and cabbage I have ever eaten!
Yes, I am Irish. Yes, I have been to Ireland.
But this meal was cooked by leprechauns themselves🍀
I can’t wait to return for more delicious meals!

My wife and I and another couple at dinner at Henry's when we were in Loveland in May. The beer list was extensive, and the food was excellent. The service was a wee bit slow, due to staffing (like the rest of the country), but the atmosphere was so comfortable that we did not mind the little wait. We found Henry's to be a top-notch pub and will definitely return there on our next visit to Loveland.

Having lunch in the middle of breweries, pubs and other eateries in old downtown Loveland. Chose Henry’s Pub (#3 of 65 restaurants per Trip Advisor). Loved it. The smoked salmon salad was amazing and both boys had Fish ‘N Chips and raved. Wide variety on menu from Irish favorites (Shepherds Pie, etc.), German fare (Schnitzel), salads, burgers, gluten free options and more. Happy campers.
Shawna B. Was our server and she was as excellent as the food was great.

It was a nice place and waiter was friendly but I ordered a rare cheeseburger and it came out with just a slight hint of pink. A perfect medium well. I said in a nice way it was over cooked when asked and although waiter was nice saying that is too bad... it isn't rare, he didn't offer to have it recooked. Not sure I'd go back. And I had asked if the kitchen would cook rare and told they would. I don't like well done meat. I'd rather have a grilled cheese! My friend ordered the French Dip and said it was very dry. We did enjoy the atmosphere but food is important.

Henry’s was fantastic. The cocktails were powerful and delicious and not too sweet. The elote salad with chicken was one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in a long time—probably since Napoleon House in New Orleans. The servers and staff were relaxed and friendly. The place was full but you could still have a conversation with someone across the table. And not expensive at all. You will not regret coming here.

First visit, and we loved the place! From the outside it looked completely full (on a Thursday night), but we were seated immediately. They have a great menu full of my kind of food. My wife had the Fish And Chips, and I had a Shepherd's Pie (it being a pub and all). We shared so as to try both. Fish And Chips was the home-run order - it looked amazing and tasted just as good. The fries are lightly seasoned but are so good that I ate them as-is (no condiment). I'd recently had fish-n-chips at The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs, and that wasn't bad, but this is on a whole other level; "Perfect" seems appropriate. I enjoyed my Shepherd's Pie for variety's sake, but was openly envious of my wife's order. We both had Killer Boots beer, and it was good but not a new favorite.
On tips: A recent review basically said "the service sucked but I tip 20% no matter what". That's as wrong as you can get! Good service deserves to be rewarded, and bad service should be discouraged in a meaningful way (monetarily). I was a little put off by the 3 tipping options - 20%, 22%, 25% - fabulous service deserves only 5% more than lackluster service? But, speaking of service, we were really impressed. Nothing but friendly servers really hustling. Exemplary!

I reviewed this pub several years ago, but wanted to update my review based on our latest visit. Henry's Pub has been a favorite spot of ours for many years, but this is the first time we've gone for Sunday's "Walleye Fry". It was the best fish and chips we've ever had, and the lemon drop martini never disappoints. The service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I especially appreciate such a lovely dining experience now, after all these months of lockdowns and isolation.

This has long been our favorite place in Loveland, but they have something on the menu that I just can't get enough of--the Poutine Burger. I don't know what it is with their sauces and gravies, but there is always just something especially tasty about them. Take their great poutine that they used to have on the menu, throw it on a burger, and you have the tastiest thing you can imagine. Oh yeah, their waitresses are really hot, too.
