My mom and I come here when we are in area. Big menu which means lot of choices. There is something for everybody. We came right before the dinner rush to get a booth. I had no problems with this place. Food is always good and hot. The salsa with the chips is on the spicier end. There are two... More

This location is as good as the one in Cenntenial, but closer to many of us living west of University. The restaurant is in the old Ruby Tuesday building, which has plenty of seating. The food is good and seasoned just right for those liking some spiciness, but not burning hot. Everything we and our friends have had was enjoyed,... More

This is a big, crowded, loud and busy place. The menu has about 7,000 items on it so it gets complicated if you do not have a go-to favorite. My problem is the I always want to try new things but when eating mexican it is so easy to fall into patterns. I also have trouble with defining "good" mexican... More

This restaurant is fairly close to home so we visit it every 3 months or so since our other favorite mexican restaurants are a fair distance away. There is ALWAYS a wait so you are forced to pack in like sardines in the bar/waiting area. Once seated, service is very fast and the waitstaff checks back often to see if... More

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Colorado period. The only downside is you're going to have to wait to get in for dinner cause it's always packed! Try the chili rellenos nachos they are to freaking die for! Everything I've tried at Los Dos is incredible.

Hadn't been to Los dos Potrillos for a little while and was pleased upon our return on the quality and flavor of the food on this latest visit. I asked our waiter if they had a new chef as the hotness factor of the salsa as-well-as the green chili sauce had gone up considerably! No, he said, it just depends... More

We have been in Denver for a little over a year now and have only found one Mexican restaurant we liked up in LoHi. After reading the reviews on Los Dos Potrillos, we decided to give it a try. Other than a fairly lengthy wait for a table (about 1/2 hour), everything was great. Good margaritas, good cheese enchiladas and... More

We eat here often. The food is always good and comes out quickly. The Sunday brunch is great if you can eat a lot. The price is right and it includes all kinds of breakfast foods plus a huge variety of Mexican food.

Always great food and great fast service. Smothered chicken burrito is wonderful and green chile has perfect level of heat! A side of fresh jalapeños and sour cream is the best compliment to an already fantastic meal!
