Met there for lunch - they both had tacos and I had enchiladas - all were good. Kenny the manager was helpful and we stayed and talked after we ate and he helped clean up our table. We'll be back!

We had lunch and truly enjoyed the casual atmosphere where you order at the counter and they deliver the meal to your table. Our group had fish tacos, chicken enchiladas, chicken tacos and kid's meals. The fresh salsa bar was good and the choice of about 5 different salsa variants was nice too. I hear the sangria was tasty too!... More

Rubio's has the best fast, fresh Mexican food around, no doubt. There's not even a close second. The gourmet shrimp tacos are to die for; the beans are super creamy yet have NO lard in them; the salsa bar just makes it all taste even better. The only downside about this location is that it is always pretty crowded, with... More

I love Rubios! This location serves up the great tasting food I've grown to love, but the place is in need of a big time deep clean. The floors, corners, crevices of all services in the building have layers of grim built up. If the dining area looks that way, I wonder what the kitchen looks like??!!

According to the poster by the door, Tuesday calls for tacos! And it was Tuesday! Original fish tacos $1.75 each (in May 2016) and $2 for the Especial. Great tacos at a great price. So was this Denver or was it heaven (or is that just redundant)?

I had some kind of barbecue-ish taco platter with BACON! With chips and some (American) refried beans, and a bottle of orange soda, it was a very tasty meal. I sat outside with some friends from church and enjoyed the cool Sunday afternoon. Definitely a good spot for some fresh Mex/seafood!

Let me start by saying I don't eat a lot of fish, and that only recently I discovered that fish tacos aren't so yucky after all. I really liked the texture of the crunchy fish outsides and the special sauce in the tortilla. I would buy these again!

Reading the few less than enthusiastic reviews found here I can only conclude that either my singular experience was atypical or that you just can't please some people! Having seen Rubio's featured on a segment of the television series "California Bountiful" I encouraged my daughter and son-in-law to try it when they visited Los Angeles. They did so more as... The food was fresh and fast. The flavors were complex and deep. Staff was friendly and informative. Had a great selection of items.
