Around 1700 hours, I took my two children to the restaurant for dinner. We have been here in the past and enjoyed the experience. However, this will be our last time. We walked into a semi full dining room and asked to sit in the only...available booth. The high school aged greeter told us no, because that server just got a customer. I was told we could wait. I was the only customer in line and was surprised we could not sit where we wanted. I decided to take one of the many empty tables and we sat down. Our entire table was sticky , so when the waitress came by she was asked if it could be cleaned. She walked away and the “greeter” came by to wipe down the mess. She then rolled here eyes as she wiped half of the table down. When asked why she had an attitude this greeter smirked saying, “I’ll clean you table.” This was enough. We can take our money elsewhere. I told the manager about our experience and looked over to the greeter. She was laughing and when caught the manager said she “has an attitude” I did not hear it but the greeter made fun of my daughter’s sweatshirt and called her a “baby” under her breath The moral of the story... Texas Roadhouse, just down the street, was great! They were polite, the food was great, and were happy to take our moneyMore

Stopped in for lunch when plan had been the Mexican place nearby. But the smell of BBQ brought me in here. It was a good choice. Pretty empty at about 1:30p on a Thursday. Friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. Good menu selection including a...Lunch Menu. Prices were reasonable for lunch. Walked in wanting BBQ Chicken and Smoked Sausage. Server made it happen. The Chicken has a good, smoky flavor. Moist. The Sausage was very good. Not spicy but flavorful. There were Hot or Tangy sauces on the table. I opted for the Tangy. A really good taste and complimented both the chicken and sausage. The BBQ Beans were very good and well seasoned. The French Fries were pretty standard. Garlic Toast was also good. Overall the meal was very good and lived up to the aroma that pulled me away from the Mexican place that I also knew was very good. Price for the BBQ Chicken Plate with an added Smoked Sausage was just over $16. A decent price for a good lunch. Rib City Grill was a good call for lunch and I felt the food rated very good. It’s definitely somewhere I’ll go again when craving BBQ locally. Not the best BBQ ever but definitely a local BBQ go-to.More

Good for the whole family! My kids love the food and how quickly the food arrives. We love the food too - especially the fried okra and pork plate.

The last several visits food quality is definitly going downhill. Yesterday the food and service were awful at a 2PM visit. Michelle our waiter was awful, the place was empty, she could have cared less about serving us. We will visit the Arvada and South Broadway...locations but they are not near us. BYE BYE RIB CITYMore

Don't waste your money. You can warm up the same food at home. Southern Beans were canned beans nothing added. Smoked turkey wasn't carved turkey like you would expect from a BBQ place it was literally warmed lunchmeat. The pulled pork looked like it had...been boiled all day until it was an unappealing mush that looked like canned dog food or cat vomit. I couldn't stomach it. Baked Beans were okay but nothing too special. Ribs also looked like either something bought and warmed or possibly baked but definitely didn't spend anytime in a smoke pit. Everything else was just frozen food they fried. Seriously BBQ at home is 1,000 times better and any chain BBQ Famous Dave's, Dickey's etc.... is also 100 times better and I think they are just okay. Service was friendly but slow especially to take our order probably waited 20 min between ordering drinks and appetizer to taking our dinner order.More

We eat here because they do not use MSG; good restaurants don't. Three had the ribs and I had the mixed plate with three things Sauces are good, food was good, their coleslaw is very good as are the onion rings. Their tap beer selection...is not very good so I had a bottle of Fat TIre. Service was fine - she was running hard, it looked they they were short of serving staff and she was very busy. All in all a good night.More

Since most places were crowded we went to Rib City and still found a "wait". But the lady on duty was very helpful and got us seating as soon as possible. She was very attentive and pleasant. Our wait staff was excellent and even made...a food change for us, no questions asked. Ribs and bbq pork were good.More

We visited Rib City for a big family dinner! The service was personal, happy, fast, and constant! Especially the waitress named Jen! She took care of us in every way and was such a sweet girl! And they had such a cute little greeter too!...And oh---by the way. Fantastic ribs, sides, shrimp, bread and constant refills! A family centric place for sure with great good and great service! Highly recommend!! Karen from TexasMore
