This place has sammiches that are 2nd to none. Its a little on the pricy-er side but if you order a half sammich it puts you right back in the ballpark. :). 1/2 sammich is plenty for me. 6'1" /240lbs. The service is excellent and the owners son runs the place now. A true mom and pop type of business.... More

Our family visited after high praise from a friend who is an area native. The large sandwiches were made with quality meats. There was excellent variety in meats and sandwich styles. If you like high quality "old fashioned" deli style sandwiches, this is the place for you.

It's like stepping back in time. I think the atmosphere is great! No, it's not fancy, and no it's not new, but it is like going to New York City. The owner was very personable and friendly and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend...I had the Marilyn Monroe, which is very fitting.

The sandwiches we had were okay, but the condition of the place is off-putting. Frankly, it's a dump with a layer of grease on everything you touch. Needs a good cleaning and sprucing up. The numerous pictures of Marilyn Monroe are an overkill, sort of like eating in a mausoleum. If you like cheesy atmosphere and marginal sanitation, this is... More

The Hubbs and I just stopped in for a quick sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. I had the Sicilian and he had the Weck. It's a family operated business and the family could not have been nicer. Don't be fooled by the small space or original decor, pass on the judgement and just enjoy! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were in the area shopping and decided to look for a deli. I think I chose the wrong one. My husband had a philly-steak and I had a hot roast beef with some kind of gross gravy stuff on it. It was very strange. We both agreed that we have had much better. At a price... More

Easy inexpensive place for a real Italian sub; but what I love most of all is all of the meats, cheeses and specialty Italian items- If I am cooking Italian and missing the North End in Boston and do not want to drive to Little Italy in Denver, this is the place.

This place oozes nostalgia, old world comfort & personal care in costumer service. I come here often for their mortadella & feta cheese. You can forget about the days hassles just sitting there taking in the music, Italian cooking aroma & Marilyn Monroe watching your every move!

Started by Tom Panzarella in the early 80's. Tom trying to capture the Chicago and Buffalo deli's he frequented from his youth he opened the OFID in Littleton Colorado. The deli is run by Tom and his son David and his soon to be wife Emily Ann Ward. They strive to make everyone feel at home when you come to eat. We pride ourselves on home made food.
