Frankly, I've had much better Asian food back home. But, if you're hungry and just have to have some, it's right next door to the motel.

Friend and I dined here for lunch on a Saturday. To our surprise it was a ghost town, but the food was wonderful! We had wontons, spring rolls, and beef with veggies. Condiments on the tables were sticky, but other than that we had a nice time.

My family and I have been coming here at least twice a month for several years. We're puzzled by all of the reviews. The only thing we can think of is some of the more difficult customers we've witnessed while eating there, purposely posting bad reviews even when the owner has bent over backwards just to satisfy people. This place... More

I first came to this place more than 3 years ago, and I remembered it as wonderful. The food was great, the service was friendly (the owner was wonderful). And now? One member of my party had chicken that was not fully cooked. Several items on the menu were crossed out. There was a foul odor on walking in the... More

The decor was plain with simple booths and tables. I had beef broccoli and my wife had cashew chicken. The main course food was good and ample portions but the fried rice was not fried rice. Their was no evidence of vegetables or seasonings. It was served in a covered bowl but was not very hot. We ordered two egg... More

I have patronized this restaurant ever since moving to Limon a few years ago. I have NEVER had a bad experience here- whether in food or in service. The dishes here are not your runny, gummy, nasty, mass-produced fare you might find elsewhere. Golden China is always a great place to come for lunch or dinner [lunch is cheaper, though].... More

Other reviews for Golden China were good so we went to check it out. Very disappointing. Wonton and egg drop soup were both too peppery. Fried dumpling sauce was spicy hot. Sesame chicken was over cooked, gristly and hard to chew. I had to ask for a knife to cut the chicken pieces. And the cashew chicken had a strange... More

My family and I went there for the lunch specials we all ordered the orange chicken it was so hard we couldn't even bite it or eat it. I told the owner and she still charged us for all the food even though we didn't eat it. I told her I feel like I didn't have to pay for the... More

We appreciate all customer comments and always want our customers to be satisfied. This was not this woman's first time at our restaurant. She has been difficult in the past, and we have always tried to accommodate her special requests. We did give her one meal and all of the soup orders gratis. In addition, we also gave her luncheon... There are few options in Limon so this is good choice. Portion of Kung Pao chicken was huge making for great value (easily split by two adults with appetizer/soup); dumplings generic. I thought the food was a bit oily, but otherwise tasty. I would go back when in Limon.

We ate at Golden China in Limon on the trip from New Mexico to Nebraska, and again on the return trip. The food is excellent and the service quick and personable, a perfect combination when we had many miles to go. Lots of choices on the menu and our waitress was helpful during both visits. It's not fancy, but it... More
