Oscar's was recommended by the manager of the hotel we stayed at. My husband & I had the salmon salad, which was very good. Our server, Keturah, was kind, friendly, efficient, and very attentive. Movie themed decor & menu is fun. We would certainly go back if we pass through Limon again.

While traveling cross country, my husband and I stopped in Limon for the evening. This restaurant received good reviews so we stopped. I got "the good, bad, and ugly" which was a mushroom ravioli and it was delicious. My husband got the BBQ burger and he thought it was great. We also had the nicest waitress, Meggan. She was extremely... More

While traveling cross country with friends we stopped at Oscar's after reading positive reviews. There is not much to choose from in Limon. The fried chicken was not like anywhere else. The coating was hard an peeled off. One thigh piece was so dry it shrunk. Probably set under a heat lamp a very long time! My dog enjoyed what... More

My husband and I went there for dinner. It was well rated on TripAdvisor and right across the street from where we were staying for the night. The restaurant is clean. The staff were welcoming and served us within expectations. There are many choices on the menu. We had the shrimp salad and a pizza. The pizza was just OK.... More

We were 600 miles from home, so my daughter found this restaurant for us on Trip Advisor and called us. Looked out our hotel window and it was across the street. I might even drive back for their "Texas BBQ Burger"; cooked medium, moist, and some sort of sweet BBQ sauce without the usual vinegar tartness. Loved it.

The decor was very interesting. The menu names were very "cute." I had Nacho Libre. The chips were delicious, but the toppings were very average. My wife had a pasta dish called A League of Their Own. It had shrimp that tasted frozen and had little to no sauce. The other dishes were similar--okay but not fabulous. Server was nice,... More

We stop here to eat every time we go through Limon and we are never disappointed. Nothing fancy, just good home style cooking. Oh, and there is a pretty good bar selection if you imbibe.

This place was recommended by the motel staff that we were staying, so we tried it, glad we did! Great steak, prepared just as ordered, wait staff was very friendly and we had our order very promptly. They have a great beer selection also. Some very interesting movie posters all around, guess the owner is a movie buff or something,... More

Happened in while on a stop-over in Limon. The waitress was outstanding. She knew the menu and was extremely attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was interesting: the "Oscar's" is referring to the Hollywood award. Lots of movie posters and even more pencil etchings of old Hollywood stars. The food was pretty good, not great but certainly not bad. The menu... More

Menu had a good variety of items on it. Some items were the frozen pre-fab kind of entrées, my chicken fried steak for example. It was good, but definitely not homemade. Other items our group ordered looked good and most everyone enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was good and there was a good beer selection you were just looking for... More
