I was amazed at the expansive menu. Being a cafe attached to a bar and grill, the roast beef sandwich was the choice. A generous portion of good beef on an open face with mashed potatoes (do order the mashed potatoes rather than the fries) and gravy. I did need to add salt - which is ok. Gives the option... More

Pulled into Limon, which is in the middle of eastern Colorado thinking we'd probably have to eat fast food just off the interstate. Right next to our hotel was Oscar's. Not today's sports oriented bar and grill, but more the type of place that existed year's ago. Yes, they had some TVs for sports, but not the focus. Dining room... More

Chicken fried steak not too bad. Mashed potatoes were made from scratch. Husband's burger was "ok". So nothing very special, but very edible. Full bar, no beers on tap. Good RV parking.

Barely mediocre food. I could have done as well by buying some frozen breaded shrimp at the grocery store and heating them in the microwave in my motel room. Don't plan to ever visit Limon again.

Unless you are starving to death, keep driving. I had the liver and onions, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, and a vegetable medley. The liver was thinly sliced and over cooked, the mashed potatoes were instant, the gravy was right out of the can, and the vegetable medley was right out of the freezer to the steamer to your plate. It... More

Looks like a nice restaurant but the service was slow. Waitress doesn't know if the beef was local so I ordered liver n onions. If a chef can't even cook that, he's inept. Husband's meal was not satisfying either. Ice tea tasted weak.

My wife and I visited Oscar's twice last week. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated quickly. The menu was impressive, making ordering fun. We were served promptly. The food was really well cooked. I have found that most restaurants, apart from the very expensive, do not cook steak very well, but mine was excellent. Unlike many restaurants, my... More

The food was hot and good and they were willing to pack it to go! The pot roast just melts in your mouth! We called ahead from the hotel, walked across the street and were able to build our own basic salad to go with the meal, and take it and drinks back to our room.

Right across the street from our hotel we found Oscar's. After looking over the menu online we decided to give it a try. We were very surprised at how good it was. Everything we ordered was well prepared and presented. I would recommend it if you are in the area and need some good eats.

Was staying the night as we were passing through town. Had the homemade pot roast and it was excellent! Very friendly staff!
