Classy place! We always prefer to sit at the bar when we go out and this place did not disappoint. Chris was a very attentive friendly professional bartender. It was super busy for a Tuesday night, yet he took very good care of us. Not a big draft beer selection but we both found bottled beer we like (I like wheat, he likes IPAs). Happy hour bar food was delicious! We could tell that they really train their staff well and we really appreciate that in a restaurant. Plus they have super cool faucets in the restrooms! We will be back!

The classy atmosphere, fantastic servers, and overall very good food made 240 Union a great experience for a larger group business meal. The calamari appetizers were very tender and flavorful, and the flank steak was amazingly tender (and surprising, since flank steak typically isn't a tender cut of meat), and extremely flavorful. All in all, this was a fantastic meal.

Been there several times for large gatherings and for smaller business meetings. They have a good menu with some different items as well as more conventional offerings. It has been about three months since I was there. You will enjoy the items they offer, but I'm not sure if they are enduring the COVID issues - short on staff, raising prices.

Thoroughly disappointed for the first time in almost three decades. We had a HORRIBLE waitress who was not trained and she ruined our family celebration. Our appetizers and meals came out at different times and were never asked for drink refills, and a few other mishaps. The worst part is management told us they had complaints from other diners who had the same waitress experience. We spent over $300 and they gave us a $50 gift certificate to come back and try again. NOT a chance we will ever go back. That is not how to do the right thing and make things right. I would not recommend 240 anymore. Went downhill fast.

We had the most delicious meal at the 240 Union Restaurant on our Denver trip in February. The pork chop was so tender and the meatloaf was better than my mother's. Excellent service and delicious bread. The owner Michael came to our table and have us some recommendations on what to do while in the area. Will definitely come. Back next time we are in town.

We frequent 240 Union fairly regularly when we come to town. We maintain and apt in Colorado for the grands and having this place is pure perfection each and every trip. The food is delciious, the service is the best, and Michael (the owner) is one of the hardest working people we know. Is often at the door to greet and seat us. We are blessed to have such a high end establishment right around the corner from us.

We had a group reservation for the private dining room. The food selection was very good and tasty. The wait staff was attentive and they offered a good selection of beers and wines. would definately recommend the food for dinner.

The restaurant, owned by Michael has been offering contemporary American food in Lakewood for 16 years. Entering through the front door, you view a very contemporary restaurant with a wide-open kitchen where guests can watch their food being prepared. We were met by Michael and led to a table on the deck and provided with the menu. The summer menu was one page filled with soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizza, items out of the pan, and main entrées. All the choices were exquisitely described, which made decisions difficult.
While we were making our selections, we were provided with thick focaccia bread and I chose a bottle of Talbott Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay for the table. We chose a variety of appetizers - Tuna Tartar for me, a Caesar Salad for Beth, a special Peach Salad for Mike and Michelle to share. They were excellent. The Tuna Tartar was amazing with small piles of roe on each side, adding even more flavor.
For entrées, the selections included Meatloaf, Veal Scaloppini, Jambalaya, and Scallops. The Meatloaf was served with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and two onion rings on top. The Veal was served with mushroom sauce over a bed of fettuccine. The Scallops were over bacon corn risotto with a broken red pepper vinaigrette. The Jambalaya was a good as any in New Orleans and contained chicken, shrimp, and sausage in the spicy rice. All our entrées were excellent, the presentation was perfect and the service attentive and friendly.
Our meal was topped off with a key lime pie and some sorbet to share - delicious. Mike decided to have a shot of Clase Azul Reposado as his dessert. This is definitely a place where we will visit each time we return to Colorado.

Service was amazing! We had a party on 8, thats never easy! Our server was efficient and knowledgeable and excellent.
Food ... was the best. I had Duck, fried to perfection, crispy and moist! The red cabbage, with white rasins, walnuts and bleu cheese was such a taste treat for me. Perfect. Everyone else was happy too, from pasta to pork chops to pizza everyone in our party was happy and full! GOOD portions and so beautiful on the plate.
We love this place.

I will bring family back here! Good drinks, wide menu and pricing. The pricing matches the area for a sit down restaurant. they hand make their own breads and desserts! The half chicken I had was out of this world! They had a great "specials" menu as well. the place was rocking on a Tuesday, that says plenty. The bartender, Chris, knew his stuff and had done quite a bit of time at this 32 year old restaurant. Sooo many people walked in and were called to...hello...by name. Worth the visit, keep this place on your list.

Numerous previous reviews. This place is awesome. A bit older clientele but who cares, most are regular repeat customers which says something. We walked in no reservations and could not be seated in the dining room. Suggested we go to the bar, which was a winner. Chris, behind the bar was our server and was worth the evening. Been there for years, knew the menu upside and down. Gave us great local suggestions beyond his restaurant. Wagyu flank steak was spectacular. Wine selection was excellent and NEVER an oversell. Wife had wedge salad with chicken and it was enough for two. Just a wonderful experience!

We picked this restaurant from 3-5 of interest based on trip advisor ratings. The food was excellent, the service very good. Deb had sea bass, which she claimed to be the best she every had. I had steak, and it too was tasty and made to order. It was a cozy atmosphere...no noise to compete with. We'd go back!

We came here on our anniversary and the hostess, server and wait all wished us a happy anniversary! Our waitress, Gordon knew all the details about each dish (I ask a lot of questions before ordering). She had great recommendations. Everything we ordered is delicious!

We go to 240 a couple of times a month. The pandemic was rough on all restaurants, but luckily, this one has survived. Love the Pork Chop and my wife thinks the Sunday Prime Rib is to die for....
We've been coming here since it opened....it continues to be the best.

I’ve eaten here three times in the past few weeks as it’s convenient to my office. I’ve been really impressed each time. Staff is friendly and professional. Ambiance is polished but not stuffy. The restaurant has a little bit of a 90s vibe that I like…
The food is GOOD. I’ve had the roast chicken, the pork chop and the pasta and I’d order all three dishes again. My only rec would be to expand the wines by the glass menu. But honestly this restaurant is a winner.
