Each time we visit the "Yabby Hut" we are more then pleasantly pleased. We are pleasantly stuffed and always walk away after spending a great time with friends and family. They bring most of your order in a pail full of different bags full of shrimp, crayfish, clams, crab, lobster, corn, sausage, and/or potatoes all seasoned to our chosen desires... More

Ok, these people are not Cajun, and not from the South as you might be able to guess by the fact that "Yabby" is what they call crayfish is Australia, or so says the cashier. The experience itself is a lot of fun, especially when they dump your food order on the paper covered table. Wow! They did have a... More

Yabby is such a fun break from the norm. Very good fresh seafood. Take your time to read the menu and the market boards. Choosing the right critter and spice is key to your enjoyment of this Lakewood favorite. Outstanding Cajun fries! Just know you will be "yabby'ed" for at least 12 hours. Sweating out the spice is a small... More

The food didn't meet my expectations. Wife had the crab legs w/special seasoning, was average. Daughter had the shrimp and chips, was average. I had one lb of shrimp w/their special seasoning, one thing you should know is that the shrimp are whole and NOT deveined, so they were to gross for me to eat. If you're from the deep... More

Enjoyed Yabby Hut very much. Food hot, beers cold. Had fresh shucked oysters and some crawfish boil. Also had a bowl of gumbo that was very good. Server was very pleasant and kept me from making too much of a mess.

We met friends at Yabby Hut. We love this place! Say yes to a bib and dig in with your hands (or like one of our friends with a chile pepper contact dermatitis issue - with your gloved hands -- gloves supplied by the restaurant). We had Cajun shrimp (medium), lemon garlic clams (mild - my favorite, but understand it... More

This is a seafood boil joint! Don't come here looking for uptight or prissy food... This is Cajun, eat-with-your-hands real deal seafood. The spicy, is VERY spicy. Try the mild first, then work your way up. I suggest the shrimp, crab and rice... Enjoy!

This restaurant is where an adult be a kid. The table is covered with a big piece of wax paper, and once you get your food the waiter comes along and puts a bib on you. They have seafood and if you love seafood then you will love this one. It's amazing taste come in extra hot, hot, medium and mild. The flavors are incredible, your seafood comes in cooking bags. These bags are tied and when you open the bag the aroma of all these different taste are incredible. Please go and try this for yourself. I say a taste of maybe one country and one other state and I am not going to tell you because you will have to try it for your self. Soooo soooo good.
