It takes two different gondolas to reach this majestic restaurant. But don't worry the restaurant provides soft blankets to stay warm. Upon arrival we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff that took our coats and showed us to our table. We were seated by a set of french doors and the fire place. Over the next 2 hours... More

From the gondola journey up through the pre-dinner drinks (as a suggestion for this why not sit at the bar and have a chat with the friendly bar man - he's worked there for a while and has some interesting stories plus you never know, if you are nice you may even get a free drink!) to the actual meal... Not only a good mountain restaurant, it is one of the best I have experienced--period. The experience begins with two gondola rides and a beautiful, short walk. You are greeted by a friendly hostess (from Costa Rica). The service, meal, setting, wine, ...all five star. The sommelier was helpful in selecting our wine. Our waiter, Jeff, was solid--very efficient. It... More

We would definitely dine here more often for lunch, if they would reduce their prices slightly. I don't mind paying more when I'm skiing, just to sit down in a quiet place and have a nice meal served to me. But, these prices could easily be cut by 25% and I'm sure they would fill their restaurant more often. The... More

If you like fine dining, this is not to be missed. It is two gondola rides (about 20-30 minutes) to get to this mountain top delight. It's the highest AAA Four-Diamond™ dining experience in North America. There is a 7 course meal option but we opted for a smaller 4 course of our own choosing. Reservations are a must. You... More

This restaurant could, but does not rest on its laurels of being located in a spectacular setting with beautiful views from the gondola ride to get there. It also has delicious food -- starting with the crab ragout and ending with a chocolate molten cake. I had the pheasant entre that was delicious. Sit by the fire for a little... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lunch after skiing all morning in Keystone. When you enter, you remove your ski boots and they give you a warm pair of slippers. We were then seated by a window with a view of the mountain top and a ski slope. An excellent wine list, a gourmet meal and luscious desserts make this... More

This restaurant is not for the faint of heart. I mean this literally.. It is located at about 12K elevation and since I am a sea level dweller, I was slightly light headed. Having a cold did not help.. Having said this, I would recommend you put this on your bucket list since there are few restaurants that you have... More

We enjoyed a magnificent dinner at the Alpenglow Stube. You have your choice of a 7-course tasting menu or can settle for ala carte dining if you so choose. All of the dishes are wonderful. My wife enjoyed the squash bisque appetizer and the duck entree while I savored the blue crab appetizer followed by a marvelous seafood stuffed sole... More

This restaurant offers an extensive wine collection worthy of pairing with an amazing dining experience. The Dual Gondola ride to the top of the mountain( including blanket) set the tone for the evening. From the coat check to the wait staff everyone was courteous and professional. The food was delicious. This experience is expensive. However, I felt that my expectations... More
