There were 11 members of our family who met for breakfast at 7am on Aug.9th. First the greeter/server did not seem happy to see us. We were seated at the far end of the restaurant by the doors to outside. The doors were open wide with a fan running and the outside temp. was 46degrees. It was cold sitting there... More

Hubby and I both had omelettes, one small bite in the middle of mine was burnt...rest was delicious. His was good, but had hoped the elk would be more homeade and less commercial tasting. Daughters gravy to go with her biscuit was a little too spicy for her, but she enjoyed the rest and our youngest devoured her pancake and... More

Hubby and I went for a lunch date. Had a nice glass of wine and brew and probably as good an omelet I have ever had. We both had the No Meat veggie omelet and it was loaded with veggies and cheese. We will definitely make a return visit.

The coffee, food and service were great. My husband had the classic with eggs, sausage and home fries. I had a wonderful veggie 'bene' with fruit which met my specific food request very well.

Can't beat the Haywood Cafe for a hearty and delicious breakfast. Eggs Benedict is amazing! I would recommend beginning every day here before skiing. Table service was great - hostess service was laughable. A young, rude hostess made us wait 15 minutes for a table when the restaurant was not even half full. (This happened 2 days in a row).... Ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo. It seemed like too much food, but I was able to finish it all; it was delicious. It paired with 2 slices of bread and homefries. I also ordered OJ. The service was great even though it was busy and there were several TV's playing either a soccer game or a movie.

Food was great and prices were ok. It was a bit smoky in the dining area from the grill. We did not have to wait for a table and got seated right away.

We sopped by to have a quick lunch a coffee. It turned out to be quite a long wait. Service mediocre at best. There is free WiFi though. No complaint about food, it was fresh and tasty but the surrounding was a disappointment. I bet there is great atmosphere during a big game, beyond such events I will have my... More

Stopped for late lunch after skiing. This is a hidden gem, there were 3 of us, chicken tortilla soup was excellent and southwest chicken wrap was a perfect match, not too spicy, great flavor. Chicken taco salad was great, but was enough for 2, very big salad. My husband thoroughly enjoyed Elk sausage sandwich with homemade onion rings. The house... More
