Heard this place was a hidden gem just 10 miles from Brighton, CO. Stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the Chicken Fried steak, broccoli, and loaded mash potatoes. The steak itself took up the whole plate, and was perfectly tender! I couldn’t finish...the meal as it was a generously portioned all the way around. No, problem as the server brought me a take home box. Hubby ordered “Beth’s Junk Burger” and he’s probably glad he didn’t order the double meat! He didn’t come up for air much and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a casual dining home cooking eatery. Yes, I recommend!More

We stopped for breakfast on our road trip home. Location is super convenient to I-76, service pretty quick, with our group in and out in 1 hour mid-morning in weekday. Chicken fried steak with a requested side of green chili sauce was the hit. Hash...browns were excellent. All portions large and came out just as ordered. The only reason I gave 4/5 rating rather that 5/5 was that hostess seemed to take on negative snippy attitude once she found that we were party of 4 rather than 5. Guess that really challenged her socially-distanced morning. She seemed awfully friendly and chatty to everyone else.More

Stopped here for breakfast about 10:00am on our way through town. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns and toast. I had the breakfast burrito smothered in green chili. Both were amazing! The chicken fry is huge - my husband is a...big eater and he didn't finish it. I could only eat half my burrito! Total cost was about $26. We were so full we didn't even have lunch! I wish I could remember our waitress' name because she was super friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely be back!More

Put a order of 30 breakfast burritos in on Monday for a Wednesday morning pick up at 7:30 am. I did not realize that they did not open until then. Amy the Manager brought some people in a little early to have them ready on...time. These are for a safety meeting for a roofing Company. This is the first time twenty people have all liked the Burritos. They were very good and a great value at $ 3.00. Thank's AmyMore

Whenever we pull into a small town, we never know what to expect. This restaurant had a nice breakfast menu and the food was very tasty. The place is a big building with three different sections...one being a bar and lounge. The decor had a...western flair. This is definitely a neighborhood hang out because lots of people knew each other. It was a cozy feeling and we enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and she took very good care of us. The omelettes were large (4 eggs) fluffy and stuffed with what I ordered to be in it. The hash browns were pretty greasy, though...couldn't eat them. My husband's breakfast burrito was large and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. It was a nice stop on our road trip.More

I first ate at the Pepper Pod over 30 years ago, coming back from the National Western. I now live about 1 hour away in the Northeast Colorado Plains. My wife and I love the food and atmosphere of this treasured eatery. We are visiting...there this evening and love this place. Would recommend the Pepper Pod to anybody that loves excellence in food, atmosphere and truthful Colorado unaffected by the Liberal scourge of Denver and the like. Pepper Pod is wonderfulMore

Four of us stopped in for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the cowboy ribeye and my wife had beer-battered shrimp. Both were excellent and the prices were very reasonable. With my steak fix out of the way, I wish we had another...dinner opportunity so I could have the shrimp, however we must be moving on. I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again!!!More

We enjoy eating at Pepper Pod once a month. We travel 40 mi to get to this place. It has its own charm. The food is great and very well cooked. The produce is of good quality. The soup and salad bar is to live...for. The meat is juicy and tender. The staff is courteous.More
