Visited on a Sunday in july, place was quite crowded. Starters were good and fast, but for the main course we waited for more than one hour, not acceptable. The explanation was "kitchen is busy with some big catering", that is not nice as if...there is a problem with orders and time they should inform at the moment of taking orders, not leaving people to wait for an hour. Appetite was gone, we didn't enjoy much.. pity because food is good and tasty.More

We dined in 10 on a Saturday July night. Location is very nice. But that’s it from my point if view. The ham cheese and salami “antipasto” really too small for the price paid even though the quality was good. Then most of us tried...the meat which was nothing to be impressed about. Room incredibly fool of flies completed not the best of my nights. In a nutshell: in an Agriturismo you expect to be stuffed with more food, expecially when you pay that price.More

We organized here a big family reunion for my baby’s christening. Everything was delicious as usual, but I especially liked the professionality and kindness showed for such an important occasion. This place is really perfect for family reunions and all kids enjoy the surroundings and...the possibility to see the animals.More

Ended up here as there were two Sant' Anna restaurants in the local area, we had intended to go to the other only to find it was closed and were then told we should visit this one as it was associated with a farm with...lovely walks and food would be fresh or locally sourced produce. Don't understand the review saying that this is a good place for vegetarians, even the Italian who recommended this place to us said don't go if you are vegetarian. Perhaps they mean the other Sant' Anna. The recommendation based on scenery was a bit silly as I am sure the farm is beautiful in the daytime but of course nothing is going to be visible at night. We had a very friendly, patient, lovely waitress who talked us non-Italians through the Italian menu. I had the gist of what was on it, being able after a week of struggling through menus to make out words but it was still so nice to have someone take the time to make sure we knew what everything was and could be clear when ordering. The tall male staff member with floppy light brown hair seemed rather abrupt and dismissive with us-a personal issue or just a personality trait? For starter we ordered a fried cheese with vegetables. This was ok, rather tasteless and unenjoyable There were near tasteless smears of what seemed to be beetroot, pesto and something else on the plate along with some sad looking oily fried bits of vegetables. It was quite impressive how unpalatable this dish was. For mains we ordered slow-cooked beef medallion and tagliatelle with beef ragu. the beef medallion itself was nicely cooked although a third of what was only the plate was fat so not much eating in it and a small but tasty amount of potato dressed with rosemary as accompaniment. The meat in the ragu was also nice and tender but the sauce was lacking a richness that you should find with proper meat sauce ragu, definitely more like a bolognese tomato sauce, most of the flavour of this dish came from the copious amount of fresh rosemary that was chopped and scattered on top. The pasta itself was awful. I understand that it was homemade but having eaten copious amounts of delicious homemade pasta in the region, some better than others this ranked, way below all of them. I don't know what they have done to it. there is a major difference between being 'al dente' and having chewy, dry centered lumpy pasta that is not uniform in either witch or thickness, with most of the 'tagliatelle' being between 3 and 4 mm thick (not width...THICKNESS). The house wine was undrinkable and vinegary, I did send it back, not expecting anything but thinking they could use the rest of the carafe elsewhere (cooking?) instead of wasting it. However our lovely waitress do replace with a different wine which was much appreciated. As our last meal in Italy this was extremely disappointing. I can see how it is popular with meat lovers but I would not recommend ordering anything but meat from the menu. All in all, we felt that as foreigners we were not welcome, aside from by our American waitress who was doing her best to be patient with us, and felt more embarrassed than anything to say anything more after the wine issue so we just swallowed our food, paid up and left as soon as possible. I would not be back myself but I do recommend it if you are a meat-eater and don't expect much else.More

The menu contained a lot of vegetarian options and our waitress very helpfully translated and recommended some of the dishes. The atmosphere was fantastic and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this restaurant to vegetarians.

We went here by chance and we don't regret! It started with a very patient waitress and finished with the very sympatic boss ( cf the photo). Between them, many things are homemade (cheeses, meat, honey). I preferred the meat and the limencello to the...mozza but the dinner was perfect! Thank to you for this moment!More

My stepfather always talked about this place and in our arrival to Italy we didn't make any plans to visit Azienda Agricola Sant'Anna, the day that we wanted to go my stepfather was able to talk to the owner and he kindly arranged one last...minute table for us which I appreciated with all my heart. food wise: its fresh, clean and delicious. atmosphere: FAMILY 100% the best part of it its that you are eating fresh product even the cheese they make it in the farm. you can walk around in green spaces with horses, horse carriages taking the children to have fun, you going to see the lake and also you will find fresh basil, prezzemolo and other plants along the way. my mouth watered just thinking about their great food.More
